I can't remember all the anime I've watched.

My go to genres are gore (higuashi, another), supernatural (bungou) and science fiction (steins;gate), more specifically I generally watch detective (psycho-pass), exorcism (fukigen na mononokean), and dystopian (shinsekai yori) animes.

Sometimes I do go for mild school animes (asterisk)... and sometimes the outright soft (poco's udon).

As for comedy, I like the ones like Tanaka where they focus on one extreme trait of the character.

I do enjoy sports anime, however only ones centered around sports I enjoy yet don't really have many opportunities to play... that being baseball (battery, ace of diamond) and parkour (Price of Stride).

My favourite concepts in anime (or any story, really) are escape (especially escaping a secret facility), power struggle/betrayal and forgiveness (in which opposing teams end up working together and allies turn against each other), and parallelism (where things that happened years ago are repeating, or characters go through similar circumstances).
