| Kenshin's adventure continues and it looks like this season takes more opportunities to get viewers to understand its world setting. Soji also wants a fight with Kenshin so he's got a target on his back. Misao also made quite an impression of herself. She's a bit hot tempered but eager to prove herself, didn't hold back on fighting Kenshin at all. Didn't seem like Kenshin took seriously. Entertaining stuff. |

| It really ain’t easy playing Megumi, in many ways:( I mean not only people leave you behind, but heck, even your worst enemy just appears before you, adding more insult to the injury plus threatening, because yeah that’s the way. Though if anything, at least it warrants some more characterization to Aoshi. He has a part to play in this grand arc as well, and hey, won’t just disappear this time saying “i’ll see you soon”. By the way, I’d have rather if they went with an older VA for Shishio’s character, I mean he’s that kinda character… the big bad villain. Still I think it’d take time, but I’ll get used to it.. Saitama/Shirogane playing Shishio. Also, as expected, they didn’t dial down Misao’s loudness, and hey, it’s just going to go worse lol xD |

| Aoshi is one person that i don't want to meet in a dark alley for sure. Monks as envoys sure is a odd choice. For filler material thsoe monks sure were powerful. Misao's debut scene was pretty badass. Kenshin's way of dealing with those guys was as decisive as ever. |

| Looks like I was wrong last week when I said the ED had Kaoru focused visuals, looks like a lot of it was the new babe Misao lol, she looks kinda similar and I didn’t realize she was a new character, instead I thought Kaoru became more of a badass or something lol. But speaking of Misao, I like her a lot so far, very cute and I like the Kunoichi thing she has going on with the hidden kunais, also she reminds me of the game by the same name lol. Her introduction was pretty fun as well, you think she’s about to school these guys but they just walk away because she’s not a hot babe like they thought lol, respectable but they still got their asses beat anyway. The bridge scene was also really cool, I’m not sure if any samurai were cutting up bridges like that in real life but for an anime it’s awesome lol, and it was after this we learned Misao’s old friends were the Oniwaban Group, and uh… they’re full of holes right now from a Gatling Gun lol, not sure how Kenshin is gonna break that to her. But Aoshi is still around at least, but he’s on a war path currently and much different than he used to be, cool to see him again tho as well as that brutal dismemberment scene. |
| Damn I got so scared for my baby Megumi for a moment there. Good thing Gojita was able to show up and send Aoshi on his way. It feels like he’s gonna be just as big a part of this arc as Kenshin since Shishio’s taken an interest in him.. plus the whole Misao plot line at the end. Obviously Kenshin did nothing wrong and was just defending himself in those fights, but the way she idolises the Onibawan group.. yea this is gonna be fun lol. Still laughing about the innkeeper calling Kenshin broke and making him break his hardass emo gimmick, tho 😂 call him anything but that. After Misao took all his money that might be more true than ever sadly. |

@Shingster Really? Aoshi didn't even break a sweat. LOL That really was cold blooded testing his skills by using those four as pawns.

Well, there she is. The worst character in Rurouni Kenshin (Misao Makimachi) is here. Hopefully they tone her down in this adaptation. I can't stand her in the 1996 adaptation.

| Misao! One of my favourite characters, I want to see her like the ending says xD! I love her in all adaptations. I laughed too much in the episode xD, and the final revelation. The pace its very good too. Next Shingetsu arc. Things are going to get very interesting. |

| Ah Misao, as loud as ever eh lmao. And Soujirou... has petite a voice as ever as well it seems xD And then ofc, Kenshin, as badass as ever. Missed seeing him, that's for sure. Cat's out the bag though yeah, Misao is the "student" of Aoshi and the Oniwabanshu. |

| Of all the people to visit the dōjō, while Megumi is guarding it. Aoshi’s presence strikes terror into Megumi again but he is here for Kenshin. Hajime leaks the fact Kenshin is heading towards Kyoto, perhaps thinking Aoshi may be of use against Shishio. Seta is already eyeing them as they speak. Shishio’s envoys desecrating the gravestones will do anything but get Aoshi on side. After refusing his second chance, Aoshi makes quick mincemeat out of the four monks with his two Kodachi. This is to Shishio’s liking. Kenshin declines shelter to not attract trouble, but it just gives the impression he’s too broke to afford. Out camping, he notices thieves who have turned on their female partner in crime, the Kunoichi Misao decides to take them for all. She tries swindling the Sakabato but only ends up getting her cloak damaged. After returning the stolen cash to the rightful owners and keeping Misao from pocketing more, Misao reveals she’s also heading to Kyoto. The thieves from earlier have come back and surrounded them on both sides of the bridge. I think damaging a public bridge is no better than petty theft. Kenshin’s one vs. many has incapacitated the other thieves and elicits a comparison from Misao with the people she’s looking for. It is then that Kenshin knows that he’s met an acquaintance of Aoshi and the Oniwabanshu; though it was not at his hands that they died, Aoshi has sworn to kill Kenshin and take the title of strongest. |

| Right, Aoshi still intended to take a revenge, and now he got powered up with those dual kodachi thingy which linked into one long sheath. Interesting... The first Shishio on-screen, already feels the hype. Meanwhile, Kenshin and his journey meet with someone unexpected. Kinda a nice fun dynamic there with her, until the revelation. Damn, now makes sense with Aoshi in the first part. She's related to him! Wonder what will Kenshin do with that matter.... |

| Welp... Megumi got one unexpected visitor. Not like she can do anything to stop Aoshi from chasing behind Kenshin's friend group. Goro spilled the beans on her to Aoshi. And apparently there are more people keeping an eye on them. Shishimori can wipe up the mob pretty quick. Four cocky guys can't lay a finger on the dude. The menacing glare really does suit him, former Oniwabab Group lead. Rip Kenshin not being able to take the hotel route. Camping out is probably the safest for the businesswomen. Respect the flexibility of the female bandit that showed up this episode, she definitely had some moves. Trying to take Kenshin's katana tho XD you can't do that to our boy. Once again, I like Misao. Gotta live somehow in these olden days. |
