Well TOIE clearly blew the budget on last weeks episode. I was kind of hoping we would get the same style of episode from last weeks with all the info dumps and major reveals this week's. I mean can you imagine how awesome this episode could have been with the kind of level of detail, transition effects and budget put into last weeks but despite that. It was still one of the most immportant episodes in one piece shown thus far from a story perspective, you can't deny that. I mean how many years have we been waiting to see the yonko bounties right? And you also got to get a first glimpse of a new Legendary Villian Rocks D. Xebec who was actually a commanding leader who was the captain of 3 of the current emperors. Not to mention other infamious pirates being name dropped in the story like Golden Lion shiki, Captain John and Silver axe. Captain John is the pirate who was in possession of a treasure, that buggy is trying to pursue and Golden Lion shiki is one of the pirates who escaped impel down and also fought with Roger during his era and the last time we heard anything about him was during the pre time skip OP. So its no conicidence why Oda suddenly is deciding to make these characters relevent in the story again. Then you also got a huge reveal of a new location called God Valey which no doubt will be an immportant location that straw hats visit in the future.

So yeah still a great episode but i do have a few nit picks. I will say the way the anime studio protrayed Rocks was a bit missrepresented because Oda never actually shown what rocks crew looked like aside from the named characters that we already know like kaido, big mom and whitebeard. How ever, it kind of looked like Garp defeated a bunch of enemies from rocks crew that looked like canon fodder. Which sort of lessoned the impact of rocks representation in the story a bit. That was anime only material obvously. So their is going to be a bit of a continuety error when oda decides to suddenly showcase ROCKS in the present story but you also have to understand that it was 38 years ago. So characters can change dramatically in that ammount of time.

In any case now were heading into a really interesting story with act 3 so hope you enjoy what comes next. Wano is still far from over and I guess now based off this episode, you can really start to see the absolute immportance of the wano arc in the story.

Nothing will prepare you for what comes next week. The Next chapter of OP was so well recieved among manga communities that we even considered it, the best written manga chapter in the entire manga with people dubbing it "Chapter of the century" The title of the chapter by Eechiro Oda is even called "Ultimate". I don't want to raise your expectations to high and then you get dissapointed but i serously don't think that will happen.

Also upcoming act 3 will start with the legend behind Kozuki oden which is a really amazing story. This year is going to be really awesome for one piece fans.
