| This was like watching a book coming to life except with anime characters. I actually like the style of the animation they've shown so far. Anime focuses on a club so far and two of the main cast are childhood friends. Not sure which character the most so far but Serufu caught my attention the most. I also kinda like the cartoonish backgrounds as I think this is one of those few anime this year that can make it work. Fun start. |

| An original CGDCT series about girls doing DIY (or some might say: IKEA the Animation), NGL this was one of my most anticipated shows of the season, and it did not disappoint. I just love it when the main female MC literally is called Yua Serufu (which is just a literate Engrish translation for "yourself"). That said, Serufu is clumsy, but cute at the same time of her carefreeness. Her next-door neighbour (Miku "Purin" Suride) on the other hand, have moved on in technological advancements, and you have people like Senpai Rei Yasaku who's still invested in the DIY way, and having a shed in school just for carpentry work. The thing is that Rei's DIY club is not officially recognized by the school, and she needs another 4 people by the end of the term to sustain the club. And while the school nurse also acts as the advisor for the club, Serufu is the first new member of the few to come. Character designs are great, courtesy of Yama no Susume character designer Yuusuke Matsuo, and Pine Jam's light pastel colours make for watercolour-like visuals. Off to a very good start. Some might say this is Yuru Camp 2.0 (there's Yama no Susume Season 4 also this season), but I'd beg to differ. It's better not being compared to something when it's its own thing. |

Usually, it's the boys who get all down and dirty, but in this show, it's all girls involved in crafting. The newbie girl Serufu seems like she is a klutz, but she's getting there, albeit slowly. | Well it looks okish so far the main is really clumsy making me wonder if it's a good idea to have her work with power tools but i guess we just have to see. The other characters seem nice so this might turn out good. Let's hope no one gets hurt tho. |

| What a beautiful artstyle, i really like it. The animation is even better, very fluid. Pine Jam delivering again and again nowadays. |
| Loving this one so far. I can roll with the super-relaxed vibe. Klutsy MC joining a DIY club, so many things can go right, especially with a pet pig named "Meat." The cuteness along with the pace will keep me going back. The style of animation is neat, too. Looking forward to this! |
| Yua Serufu, Yourself eh. I had pretty high expectations for this anime but this was a pretty boring first episode. I really like watching fluffy CGDCTs but maybe this ain't for me. |

| A DIY CGDCT anime, that was a nice start, and lol the MC is really named Yua Self and is really clumsy xD Anyway she already joined the DIY club they need 3 more members, I love that she has a dog a cat and a pig at home xD Also her friendship with her childhood friend seems sweet, they need to better get along now |

| Had my eyes on this anime the first time it was announced, and it didn't disappoint. Pretty good first episode with already some small explanation about securing wood together. Can't wait to see how it all plays out but this is surely an anime I'll be coming back to every week |
| Serufu is quite the endearing protagonist. Gotta love her vibe. I also love the art style. I would call it bubbly. |

| This was fun to watch. When Serufu picked up the power drill, it reminded me of the time when the girls in K-on went to a hardware store. It doesn't look like Purin is going to be joining the club. Thought she could bring some interesting tech into the projects. Rei's shoes were cool though. |

| The wood chopping animation tho xD and carving Serufu reminded me of Fuko for a second there lol The clumsiness is adorable. What a lovely start, really enjoy the tomboyish take on cute girls doing cute things. The not so typcial art style for the subgenre managed to capture that vibe without a doubt. |

Reminds me a lot of eizouken in how artistic it is Serufu is such a glitz and I love it, I can’t wait to see the club grow and include more members. | yes yeeesss, sweeet sweeeet CGDCT. The sempai chick is supercool and the whole rivalry with the high tech childhood friend has potential for some great storytelling. Artstyle is a bit... unusual but I didn't mind it at all at the end. Only thing that bothers me is she clearly isn't a "well adjusted normal teenager", to say it in the nicest way possible. I could do without that, she could just be clumsy. But I'm nitpicking. I hope the DIY projects will be interesting and informative in their own right, and that the friendships made along the way will be deep and wholesome. |

| Loving the idea of being set in the not so distance future where the convenience of drone deliveries, 3D printers and even self driving vehicles made doing things by yourself something weird. Meat the pig makes me think of Boota the molepig with how it acts and those glasses. |
| I little Yua goes a long way here; I hope she matures a little as the season progresses, I think the production team is trying a little too hard to make her Nadeshiko 2.0. And ditch the pig(though they won't). |

| Oh God this was so cute and lovely, loved the artstyle too, what is it about dual hair color that it is always a sign of a nice show, Poor Purin just wanted to share her student life with Serufu, the only problem I have is that I won't be able to relax with the show, a clumsy person with tools is going to give me anxiety everytime. |

| Great show to have a good dosis of CGDCT. Yua was a little annoying for me, like a mix of Konata from Lucky Star and You from Shaman King, I love both of them but Yua was kinda super dumb at first, I believe this wont last for too long. |

| i feel conflicted about this one. for starters, this show's pacing and cinematography is actually really good. i don't think the entirety of Summer 2022 (besides MIA2) had a show that did better in those aspects. apparently the editor for this show (Gou Sadamatsu) also edited FMAB, Princess Principal, and Golden Kamuy 1-3, so that may be why. And if the Director of Photography person (Yasuhiro Asagi) had a hand in cinematography then I'm quite excited for his other DoP position in Blue Lock, though I haven't heard anything about their other works. however, the music is kinda shit, and the art style, while possibly charming for others, didn't really get to me. My personal "niche" taste is sketchy art with inconsistent proportions but with personality, and this doesn't really fit the bill. also, comedy seemed too dragged out sometimes. will probably watch a few more eps before deciding drop or continue. |
