Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! Review

Hi there I'm Korax, I'm someone who only got into anime more recently than I may come off but hopefully, that won't lead to confusion. What this does mean is a passion for the medium of anime, whilst also having an analytical twinge. I find myself trapped in a vortex between hipster and casual taste so that will probably be reflected in my scores.

Well ya'll, it's been a fun time. After having my recent Makeine review abruptly removed a month ago, even though my prior review had indicated such, I'm pretty much done with MAL reviews. Having an entire review taken down with no opportunity for an appeal, god forbid a public appeal, is an incredibly depressing sight that I no longer wish to see again. Along with the health issues that have plagued since I've started writing, it's made it more difficult than it's worth to pen anything. I've greatly admired the plethora of dynamic critics who've made up this site since I joined, and I'm honored in becoming the top review of a couple of shows, popular ones at that. Getting rid of the original rating system is one thing, but having a continuous series of rule changes or mind boggling enforcement of said rules that actively punishes its users is too much. I'm not entirely sure what kind of environment the mods want to enforce on this site, because it seems as though they're in contention with their core user base, for no substantial gain? Either way, I may write more reviews in the future and post them here, but it will entirely be because passion takes over and I can't not say something.
