| It's nice to see that a kid stepped up to take the role of teacher even after everything that's happened to this world. School is legit submerged in water and she's still willing to teach these kids. WHILE SHE'S A KID HERSELF.... Respect +10 Natsuki going full Senkuu there in the end of the episode to create some electricity. Let's see if it's as easy as he says it is though. |

| Alternate universe where Atri really was a repurposed battle robot built for war: "Atri, after them." "Okay!" *Launches missiles at the kids* It was sweet seeing more of Natsuki's human side with his decision to teach the kids (and him really being a total scaredy cat). Still kinda hits hard that Nanami was a teacher instead of a student after all. |

| ATRI are more human ever. I found her really adorable. True the all adults has been leaving most of them that are there are either poor and criminals. I don't see much security so I feel like it going to turn out bad in the end. I am happy the mc are trying to do something well he is protagonist after all. |

| Even the kids bullying Atri now she can’t catch a break 😭 this episode was actually pretty sad. No teachers, electricity, parents or a home for those kids? The fact they’re even able to laugh or have any semblance of fun is a testament to the indomitability of the human spirit. Even with nothing, they’re just trying to live as normally as possible and S/O Minamo for all she does to keep the school going, not certified as a teacher or anything but trying to pass on knowledge to the next generation. If she had told Natsuki the situation before, he probably would’ve helped out sooner. He may not be able to “learn” anything academically at school without instructors, but Natsuki is the perfect teacher as the smartest person left on the island and can share all his knowledge with the next generation. Plus, he could learn a thing or two about social interaction and life lol. Looking forward to this mini arc I’m starting to think Atri is more than a robot though. Since when do robots have dreams ? |

| So the school situation turned out to be sadder than I thought with Minamo being the (young) teacher with no adult available to do it. While I wonder why the remaining people don't migrate to the mainland at least Natsuki will do what he can to help out and if he can build a good sized wind turbine that will be very helpful. |
| Maybe it was obvious, but I'm kinda feeling smart right now after correctly predicting that Natsuki would propose using the energy of the tides to generate power. Now to see how they actually do it. Is Atri gonna finally show off her robot side and start cutting through metal so we can salvage those wind turbines? (Probably not) |
| Too bad Atri so far is an annoying piece of junk. It may take a few episodes before she becomes useful and this anime becomes a tearjerker. Too bad her story of being a battle robot was a lie. Or was it? They'll make some electricity, and it will start getting interesting. |
| Atri was hella annoying this episode. Honestly made me think "maybe selling her was a good idea". Not only is she useless, she's a hinderance. I know this will likely change, but she was insufferable this episode. |
| Atri trying to be Natsuki's other leg, as she prepares to attend school for the first time. Since Atri forgets her memories, Natsuki giving her a book for a log works either way. But for both to be labeled as the hitman and Small Fry with being entertained by sneaky kids who goes to the building that's surrounded by water, with the only teacher being Minamo herself. Still, with Ryuu egging Natsuki that he abandoned the only leftover kids of the school, he didn't mean it that way, and tries all he can. But towards Atri, there's just no point salvaging her when it comes to cooking, when trying to cheer him up, only to find herself making up a story all about her being a battle robot, and even if that story is true, Natsuki just doesn't believe her. Atri losing Natsuki's book in school, and the two go back to retrieve the book, though the seawater tide changes, and there's someone on the watch: Ririka. Her, Ryuuji and Toru literally staying in school as their home, it literally is a challenge for people like Ryuuji to live with the circumstances they have. And for once, Natsuki trying to engage with the windmills to generate electricity, and spends a sleepless night developing a class subject about said topic to Ryuuji and the kids, it's a workable turnaround given the possibilities, though Natsuki has to lead that charge. So far, things are setting up as they go. |

| This show is definitely a slow burn. While I do think there's a lot here to be excited about with the worldbuilding we still have one missing character, a lot of questions, and seemingly no plot whatsoever. Three episodes in I would have liked some kind of narrative point they strive for but it's all been piecemeal. |

| Once again, Atri is proving to be highly efficient. Gosh, she's just too adorable and bubbly when she's at her best. I like Ryu; it's clear he cares deeply for the little kids—anyone else might have abandoned them, but not him. In a broken world like this, and even in one that isn't, there's always someone who wants to step on others. Although he acts like a jerk to Natsuki. Anyway, Natsuki is making progress little by little. Now, to recover those years that seemed wasted to those who know him, he's looking to help whoever he can. Or, at least for now, he's taking voluntary steps to figure out where he should go. He really shined in this episode, and who would've thought horror stuff isn't his forte. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| I do really fancy the setting of this series and the atmosphere cultivated by it. It's such a place stuck between eras and lost in time, where it could feel vaguely futuristic or like a throwback to over 100 years ago. I just like empty and desolate, mostly uninhabited places where there are still some kernels or sparks of life clinging on. But the characters in this one really irk me. Mostly Atri. All the others are just kind of there. They're whatever and fine. Side/supporting characters so far are what you would expect from a series like this or ones you feel like you could exchange with those of many other series. The younger children from this episode were probably the best so far as far as side characters go, just for being earnest and mildly sympathetic. It's a low bar to clear. Then there's the usual standoffish jerk with a heart of gold (I mean that Ryuu guy and not Natsuki who is also somewhat like that, just in a more muted/mellow and less aggressive and upfront way). Others are bland. Actually, briefly reviewing them now I guess most of the characters aren't an enormous mark in favor of or against it, except for that fact that Atri is so un-robot-like and super irritating often. | Natsuki is kind of mean sometimes but at least he actually is caring enough to go out of his way to try to help others. And why did no one else there know how wind and solar etc actually work? Lol of course you use a rechargeable battery. I knew that when I was 8. Though i see a lot of people these days not know. I am really curious what sort of electric system is planned since there is a few for ocean water. |

| So... Atri's "fake" story about being a combat robot who was taken in... is true, isn't it? She's terrible at anything human like, because she wasn't supposed to do them. She was shocked that she couldn't just as far as she was supposed to, because she probbaly had her specs toned down so she could live normally. |

| Atri's so precious. She went to school and got to make some friends too. Those kids are adorable. Had a feeling the school was gonna be something like this given their situation. Though it's nice that Minamo's nice enough to teach them and not abandom them. Prolly related to her backstory, interested to know more about her. New guy is jealous of Natsuki cause he has what he doesn't? He seems like a pain. Anyway Natsuki's finally getting his stuff together. Guess watching the school and kids situation gave him the push. |

| Mmmm, waterwheels have been used forever to produce electricity, it's common knowledge, it's kinda weird they haven't think, nor know, about that being in a world that got almost entirely consumed by water. Minamo staying here just to be a teacher to these kids is so beautiful ❤️ I believed the battle robot story lol I'm hooked with this anime, glad I decided to give it a go. The VN is at -50% discount on Steam right now, I'm not a VN fan but I had to grab it, I'll wait untill the anime is over to play it 🫡 |

| Minamo is very admirable. She's taken on the role of teacher when everyone else abandoned their posts. She even has the chance to go to the Mainland, but she stayed for Natsuki and these children. Just amazing. Also, Ririka is cute~ |
