Week 11 Update Complete.

A handful of shows ending as we enter into the last few weeks of the season. One of those was Chi.: Chikyuu no Undou ni Tsuite, it concludes with just the 1 drop and stagnation and aside from that has been perfect all through, a great ending boost, an extremely healthy MSP score and just about nudges itself into the top 3 of MAL score table, an excellent showing all through. Zenshuu is also having an excellent end to the season, its now on a 4 week rising streak which has seen it turn its MSP score positive and tops score change in these final weeks. At the other end its now 3 drops in a row for Bang Dream and no rises in 5, our early front runner of the season seems to be heading for a meek conclusion. No such issues for Medalist though as it looks to hold its perfect MSP hopefully into its 2nd cour and possibly all throughout its runtime.

Week 10 Update Complete.

Season is very much winding down now. Zenshuu's good run continues, its now 3 rises in a row and it once again takes the anime of the week award, sharing it this time with Babanbabanban Vampire. Zenshuu rises all the way to 2nd on score change and Bang vampire after a few good weeks makes an appearance there for the first time this season. Bang dream suffers its joint biggest fall of the season, safe to say its on a bit of a downward trend now. Medalist still crawling to the finish line and still holding that perfect MSP for now. Apothecary Diaries is very much up and running now with 3 rises in the last 4 weeks, ditto for Tasokare Hotel.

Charts was what mostly delayed this week's update, hopefully its worth the wait. The monstrocity you will see below is a scatter diagram of the top 20 MAL score shows at this point of the season, with their Score Change being plotted against their MSP %es. The chart has 4 quadrants, each hopefully self explanatory. I'm looking forward to doing this for a seasonal analysis where all shows will be represented and the best standing out at a glance :D

Week 09 Update Complete.

Ao no Exorcist continues its very good run, it posts its joint best week of the season and moves to the top of the score change table. It's able to move top as while Medalist does rise again its now starting to slow down considerably and thus loses most of its momentum, it still reamins the only perfect MSP show this season. Big rise for Chi, the best its had since its early airing days, goes back into the top 3 for score change and is joint best for the week. The bad run continues for Bang Dream as it falls again, the 2nd time in 3 weeks, falling out of the score change table completely. Dragon Ball Daima and Dungeon concludes as Rurouni Kenshin falls for the first time since it started airing last season.

On Charts let's look at Sorairo Utility's score change, not too popular but its one of the few shows yet to see red this season.

Week 08 Update Complete.

Toilet Bound Hanako loses its perfect MSP with a stagnation, which means going into the final month of the season, Medalist is the now the sole show carrying that record. It advances again this week and retains top spot on both score change and msp but wasn't able to move up on MAL score this time around. We also got some first greens of the season for Zenshuu and Dragon Ball Daima, the latter on its...18th attempt. Bang Dream follows up last week's drop with a stagnation, so still work to do. Ao no Exorcist remains fairly consistent and rises up to 2nd on score change, Solo Leveling also has had a recent few good weeks and advances as well.

Zenshuu and Dragon Ball Daima's first rises of the season was big enough to see them jointly claims the weekly award.

This week on charts we're comparison the score changes between this season's Dr. Stone and its immediate prequel, the prequel had a better MAL score but this season its far more consistent and slowling catching up as well.

Week 07 Update Complete.

Most found it a struggle to move up this week as we go through the mid season grind. Bang Dream finally succumbed and suffered its first fall of the season, meaning it loses its perfect MSP, drops on both score change and MAL score as well relinquishing its top spot on the MSP table. No worries though as Medalist takes over, it now tops both score change and MSP but it did have a very slow week given its lofty standards. To pick up the pace was Tasokare Hotel which was our biggest mover of the week, this was only its 2nd score rise of the season but it beat out all the competition. Dr. Stone's 4th consecutive rise sees it into the top 3 of score change as well as a respectable position on the MSP, while Magic Maker's conecutive rises sees it being the biggest position mover of the week. ..And finally, finally Apothecary Diaries awakens from its slumber for its first rise of the season, better late than never.

Tasokare Hotel takes the week award.

Week 06 Update Complete.

A happy welcome to the season to DanMachi and Re:Zero who return on the same week after hiatuses in Fall 2024. Naturally we saw a big drop after so many weeks being away for Re:Zero but suprisingly DanMachi not only managed to retain its last score pre hiatus but also improved on it. Bang Dream contiunes to rise and retain that perfect MSP but it is still slowing down as the weeks go on, no such issues for Medalist as it posts another strong week and holds top spot on score change. Apothecary diaries fell for the first time this season but we also saw surprising rises for Solo Leveling and Magic Maker after weeks of falling. Lesser talked about Ao no Exorcist and Sorairo Utility are quietly having very good seasons as well. Medalist takes the week for the 3rd time in a row.

Week 05 Update Complete.

Did some PC upgrades over the week which is why this is a bit delayed.

Medalist, Medalist, Medalist, that's the big story of the week as it takes over. It overtakes bang dream to lead score change and a big boost also sees it advance on the MAL score table as well. Bang Dream has started to slow but retains top spot on MSP but mostly due to an earlier airing time, Toilet bound Hanako also overtook BanG Dream with a good boost as well. We also saw another big boost for Akuyaku Reijou Ojisan as it turns its MSP positive. It's back to back decent score rises for Dr. Stone now as Sorairo Utility is also putting up some impressive numbers.

Month 01 Source Material Update Complete.

Medalist was our biggest mover over the first month with Hana wa Saku and Akuyaku Reijou close behind. Not suprising to see majority of titles stagnating but that has allowed big movers like Medalist to make significant ground on the stagnating Solo Leveling and slowly improving Apothecary diaries.

Our Anime vs Manga table sees Ubel Blatt having over a full point advantage over its low rated anime. Honey Lemon Soda, Unnamed Memory and Medalist all boast big advantages as well. At the other end we have Akuyaku Reijou with its anime outstripping its source, Guild no Uketsukejou and 100 girlfriends boast a healthy advantage in that respect too.
