A-Rank Party wo Ridatsu shita Ore wa, Moto Oshiego-tachi to Meikyuu Shinbu wo Mezasu.

Streaming dungeon dives and quests is a really fun twist on the fantasy adventure genre and pretty much the hook for this show. Sponsored streams and the cottage industries that are supported by adventure streaming give the MC and his pals a convenient excuse to bang out side quests and push the story along. "Stream sniping" between parties, with the guild monitoring streams as a mechanism to track and verify adventurer activity or send help in case of an emergency trades the what-happens-in-the-dungeon-stays-in-the-dungeon tradition for a "full information" concept. That gives the guild a good reason to exist in-universe, being twitch/youtube + DMV + SWAT ... rather than just being there because there is always a guild in shows like this one.

Depicting the raw entertainment value for the general public and strategic value to other adventurers in watching the best clips back to see how different parties strategize and approach specific encounters in the dungeons is also just a free force multiplier on the limited world building a show like this can accomplish. Unlocking the ability to set the stakes or the next story beat just by playing back a previous stream on a screen somewhere and having any character in the show react to it, or having a character express some streaming related goal, is a great device that lets you do the same thing you would do in a flashback with a bit more immersion and flexibility. I actually didn't know about this aspect of the show before I watched the show, and I like it a lot more than I thought I would. It sounds like it would be cheesy and stupid af, but it's great and it's also not the only thing I like about this Anime.

While the streaming in a fantasy world concept does a lot to mitigate the generally low production values on its own, the fights have a passable level of "hard" mechanics and strategy. Exploring dungeons between fights allocates screen time and exposition to the need to stop and eat, rest and recover, camp out in the dungeon and replenish mana. It helps that the animation and direction are tolerable, too. Show crutches hard on effects, character writing, and concept but all together it's very watchable through the firmly mid action sequences which helps the stronger aspects of the writing get a foothold and grow on you.

The well written personalities of the MC and his new party plus good dialogue contrasts so well with the gross narcissists in his former "A-rank" party. He ditches them because he was being overworked, underpaid, and completely unappreciated for all the bullshit he has to take on just to get them through their higher level quests unscathed. Peak catharsis watching this man walk out on a C-suite that are too busy smelling their own farts to know what their best people actually do in a day to keep the lights on. It looks like a step away from his long term goals at the time and he will definitely have to take on even greater responsibility at first to build up his new, less experienced party. But if he doesn't have to deal with insufferable pieces of shit talking out of their assholes and taking credit for his work every single god damn day, it is WORTH IT. This part of the show gets me unreasonably fired up. Every time they pan to his shitty old party watching his new party dunk on a boss on stream I get wet back there.

Going meta, it is always good to see an MC in an almost-harem-but-sorta-CGDCT show like this having proper, workplace appropriate rizz. He handles his smart hot female colleagues without blushing or bleeding from the nose at all most of the time. Double that, the smart hot female colleagues appreciate him as a mentor and take initiative to contribute wherever they can. They also aren't just there to glaze him. When he's being too risk-averse or corny, they let him know and they're usually not wrong. Dialogue will often convey how close the girls are with each other, but not with him just yet. Makes complete sense because they were a party way before he joined, they're all girls, he hasn't been a novice adventurer for years and he's new to being a party leader. There's even a redemption arc brewing with one of his former party members, who is figuring out they were total dickbags to the MC and may try to mend fences in earnest.

These little touches of realism in how the characters are written and the "idiots all the way up" workplace drama theme dime out just enough lube to get the poor production values past my drop defenses. Streaming Solo Leveling gate encounters back to the general public is also a great concept to spice things up in an overdone genre. Same studio made that golf Anime "Birdie Wing: Golf Girl's Story" by balancing Jojo golf stands, the systematic development of adolescent super-talents in sports, yuri-bait and crime family golf vendettas. Bandai Namco do be cookin' with these concepts.

Not bad, and not amazing, and doesn't necessarily stand out.
"I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths!", is just another generic anime this season, but it is a good generic anime with less faults than a lot of other anime that get shoveled out every season. This is without a doubt a very watchable anime that you will probably think is generic, but a decent generic anime with some charm.

If you’re in a rush, skip to the TL;DR at the end for a quick summary of my thoughts. If you’ve got the time, let’s dig into the details.

Characters:
The characters ... are predictable and mostly fall into the usual fantasy genre stereotypes, but they’re not bad. Their personalities are likable, though far from unique—they’re essentially class-based caricatures (healer, tank, DPS, etc.). This is especially true for the antagonists, aka the party the MC left (or more accurately, got kicked out of). They embody the overused trope of blaming the support class for everything:
"Why is the party struggling with health and mana issues? Must be the support class MC’s fault for not attacking enough!"
"Let’s replace him and hope that fixes everything—oh wait, it didn’t."
While these stereotypes make the characters predictable, they don’t ruin the show. They generally work well enough here to keep things entertaining.

Story:
The story so far is episodic, with each episode focusing on dungeon dives, monster hunts, or various quests. Occasionally, the show slows down to give us more backstory through casual team conversations during rest periods, almost like a slice-of-life anime moment. It’s reasonably enjoyable, with fun team dynamics and antics keeping things interesting.
That said, nothing so far really differentiates this anime from the sea of other fantasy-action series. It’s a solid but standard setup—three episodes in, there’s nothing truly unique or surprising. With 24 episodes planned, there’s still room for the story to grow into something more compelling, but for now, it’s just fine.

Art:
The art and animation are pretty underwhelming. Battle scenes often lack proper animation, with things like a static white sword swipe used to show an enemy being defeated, rather than animating the actual sword swing. The character designs are similarly basic—serviceable, but not at all unique or eye-catching. It’s fine for what it is, but don’t expect anything visually impressive.

TL;DR & Final Thoughts:
This anime isn’t bad, but it’s not amazing or unique either. It’s a decent, watchable show that might be worth a binge once all 24 episodes are out. For now, though, there are better options airing this season if you’re looking for something truly engaging or exciting.

If you’re short on time, I’d recommend watching something more unique, like Solo Leveling, or catching up on older anime you’ve been meaning to watch. While this isn’t a bad anime, there are simply better choices out there.

Anyways, it's a solid 6.75/10 for me, and is a decent anime.

Another season, another anime that takes a very familiar road: the overpowered protagonist who’s kicked out (or quits) a star party, only to go on and become the strongest hero around while building a harem. How many times have we seen this trope? At least 1-2 times per season, it feels like.

And this one? Well, it’s as average as they come.

The only thing that might stand out is the "Red Mage" aspect of the protagonist’s abilities. But even that’s not really original. Wasn’t there another anime with a guy who had a ... “crappy” skill that turned out to be ridiculously overpowered for paralyzing and poisoning everything in sight? (That one was at least darker, so it had something going for it.)

Anyway, back to this show. The story follows a guy who leaves his party because they treated him like garbage—paying him less and just generally being jerks. So what does he do? Naturally, he teams up with his former students (who are, of course, three attractive anime girls) and starts his own party. Oh, and for some reason, they can live stream their dungeon fights. Why? Who knows. But hey, why not?

Everything about this anime screams mediocrity. The visuals? Okay. The music? Okay. The plot? Predictable and boring. There’s nothing here that truly stands out or does anything different.

It’s like the anime equivalent of reheated cold pizza and a lukewarm beer—not bad, but definitely nothing you’ll remember or rave about later. If you’re in the mood for something super generic that doesn’t require much thought, this is your show. Otherwise, you can probably skip it without missing much.
