both have a new teacher, in his mid 20s at best and a virgin, Mitsudomoe is funny all around where as Konoji has drama and romance Both are ecchi, but Mitsudomoe is visual gags, where as Konoji is panty's bras etc

Both are comedy, slice-of-life anime, with a focus on a family of 3 sisters. Each individual has a stereotypic personality, which you can pretty much predict their responses/interactions to different situations. Both series will make you laugh out loud.

they are both about kids and their teacher..Hanamaru is light-hearted and cute while Mitsudomoe has scary(in a funny way) and older characters and consists of mostly sex-jokes...if you watch Hanamaru and want a cute show then I don't recommend it...

loli, similar animation. perverted stuff, funny.. this summed it all up i think. Generally really similar feel to these animes.

Both animes have three girls and one guy as the main characters. Both animes don't have a storyline but contain dirty jokes.
report Recommended by Chuxie
just imagine this series as the little girl version of this show. NOT FOR LITTLE GIRLS, but the characters more specifically, Both Hilarious in their own way with short scenarios

Mitsudomoe is like a dirty version of Azumanga. They have somewhat similar comedy and overall flow, and they're both hysterical.

The characters are exactly the same; one bookworm/otaku girl, one energetic dopey girl and one headstrong, glutonous girl; all very different young schoolgirls. Considering both are comedy seriese's, character type is the most importiant element, as it is sutiable the character who is thrown into comical scenario; both are series's were the comic element can take you anywhere, depending on the writers taste.

If you like vulgar, crude, even gross comedy then if you like one show you will probably like the other. Neither are for the faint hatred. You need to be able to enjoy "in your face" perverted jokes and even jokes related to body excretions to be able to enjoy either of them.

Trio of grade schoolers wreaks havoc in their town. They also target one older guy which they try to bully in a way. While Mitsuboshi Colors is focused on cute aspect, Mitsudomoe is focused on a bit more ecchi aspect.

Both animes have that slapstick type of comedy. Both also deals with a lot of toilet, perverted and idiotic/ lack of common sense jokes that will make you laugh out loud. Other than that, storyline differ.
report Recommended by hokeymon
Both are in school and have large exadgerations with violence and are comedys.

If you're looking for a plot-less Anime, solely for situational humor, then Lucky Star and Mitsudomoe both fit your needs.

Both are incredibly humourous shows with a lot of eechi and random humour, though both artstyles may be off putting for some (to be honest i dropped both shows ~3 ep in, but im glad i picked them up again as they are both fantastic heartwarming hilarious series. It gets better later on). Highly recommend sora no otoshimono if youre looking for a bit more action and storyline and can stand some eechi moments.

The pictures is kinda similar to mitsudomoe. It`s about school life and they behave a little similar to the kids in mitsudomoe.

In both animes girls try to embarrass boys. In both animes unpredictable funny ends of situations. Both animes have innocent teenage vulgar humor.

Both are school comedies with bubbly and colorful style and suspicious humour. They really make you lauch out loud and just feel lol. The humour is based on characters. Some scenes can be quite touching and have a bit more serious feel in them, but that's rare.

This recommendation is more of the grittiness of both anime, rather than context. I've noticed both WataMote and Mitsudomoe have an abundance of sexual jokes/toilet humour. It makes sense for WataMote but it is a little more strange and misplaced in Mitsudomoe. Regardless, both make use of such humour a lot even if it can get obnoxious (a lot more true in Mitsudomoe). But that's all the comedic similarities they share. I guess they are both centred around school, but Mitsudomoe is more surreal humour compared to Tomoko's dramatic life trying to be popular at school. Good comedies if nothing else.

These shows start in a very similar way: a new timid teacher gets assigned to a class of full of mischievous students, who start to pester the new teacher. Even though Mitsudomoe does not contain any mythology, both shows have a very similar vibe in them.

Over the top comedy. Not for sensitive people. Konosuba is isekai fantasy, Mitsudomoe is school slice of life about 6th grades and it takes jokes a bit further.

Both are joke gag anime filled with lovable characters! Except for the fact that this is a loli girl anime, and the sextuplets are triplets instead Like Osomatsu San, Mitsudomoe has no set storyline but does follow previous events

Both are school comedies featuring primarily perverted humor. The main characters consist of a group of girls and one guy. However, in Mitsudomoe there is a large age gap between the girls and the guy (he's their teacher), whereas in Jinsei the characters are all the same age. Both shows also involve a superhero or group of superheroes who are important to some of the characters.

Both are comedy-based slice of life shows that repeatedly play off of social plights and abnormalities in a lighthearted way. While Umaru-chan focuses on making references and being relatable, Mitsudomoe revolves around social dynamics and innuendos. Both will make you laugh!

Both have badass comedy and tokusatsu parody
report Recommended by Hyoukami
The shows are similar as that they both predominantly feature elementary school children in a slice of life environment. They are also both comedies where the humour tends to be on the wacky side and of an adult or sexual nature.
report Recommended by duhhh
Both of them have a kilograms of black humor and misunderstanding between characters.
report Recommended by TAB66
The characters reminds me somehow these from Mitsudomoe. Also, they are "lolis", we have school issues.
report Recommended by Nolongerusedxx
Both are moe anime that are funny. Both characters are really cute and the characters have a wide variety of personalities, from the crazy/insane Ritsu/Mitsuba, to the silent/moe Mio/Hitoha. There are other teachers involved in the craziness, especially Yabe/Sawako. BEWARE: Mitsudomoe is MUCH, MUCH stranger than K-ON.

Both shows are based in slapstick comedy and have sadistic young children. The humor in both is a bit adult, yet accessible to those with mature palates. Basically, both are crazy funny.

Explosive gag comedy featuring a cast of unforgettable kusogaki, lots of dirty humor.
report Recommended by Kennit
Both shows have a lot of sex jokes with characters who look too young to be making such jokes. But they're still both hilarious. They revolve around a lot of misunderstandings, in which one character thinks the conversation is about something different than the other character thinks it is about. Basically, the style of humor for the two shows is just really similar, and since humor is the only reason to watch these kinds of shows, I don't see why you would like one and not the other.

Chibi-fied characters. Silly antics with nonsense characters. And extreme expressions.
report Recommended by lanblade
The comedy in Mitsudomoe is very close to that of School Rumble. The only difference is that there is no romance in Mitsudomoe
report Recommended by amat_24
Another comedy featuring a trio of 11-year old girls. Unlike ChitoseGY which is fairly evenly paced and uses the 'do something unusual and pause for a laugh' technique alot, Mitsudomoe is a much more fast-paced, high-energy comedy. It deals with similar school scenarios, being troublesome for the teacher, girls 'liking' their fathers/older brothers, along with similar sexual humor. If you liked the humor and cheeky antics of the school girls, Mitsudomoe will be like a rush of fun.
report Recommended by ollixo
Kind of specific - but if you liked the jokes surrounding mostly the father of the triplets, you'll definitely enjoy this. It's a series of very short episodes but it's a great comedy - and one of the characters (the child who has the body of an adult) is constantly getting arrested by the cops or chased by the neighborhood watch because of being around his big (albeit loli-bodied) sister and his little kid friends.

Both series have humor which originates from misunderstandings
