they are both about kids and their teacher..Hanamaru is light-hearted and cute while Mitsudomoe has scary(in a funny way) and older characters and consists of mostly sex-jokes...if you watch Hanamaru and want a cute show then I don't recommend it...
Kids are really weird, and try to get the teacher to fall in love (Ayu with herself, the triplets with the nurse) in extremely weird ways. Mitsudomoe is very perverted, and Hanamaru is very innocent.

both revolve around 3 girls and their teacher and both have dirty jokes, basicaly the same just with an age difference.

It's fun being a kid. Hanamaru and Mitsudomoe would very much agree with that. A life that only knows of care-free times, both these anime just go on and do a ton of childish stuff you'd expect children to do, for the most part anyway.
Whether that be dreaming of the most inane fantasies on earth or doing other surreal trickster nonsense, it seems both are able to propel themselves into high-quality works utilising their premise to the full with all the weird and wonderful things that happen here.
Good comedies about kids doing kids' stuff.
