I've actually already seen the Discovery music videos, just hadn't added them to MAL. I'm a big fan of Leiji's character designs: you can always tell the personality and what idea the character is trying to convey instantly from their design. He's a master at storytelling, even if often their cliches can bore/lose people.

I'm glad you liked my post. I've tried reading bits from your website but I just can't into Cyrillic (and neither can google translate apparently).

I recently watched the Netrun-mon OVA and while as an actual story it sucked, the point was obviously to cram in as many memes and cultural icons as possible and for that I loved it: even if I'm sure many of them went over my head.

Hey Kennit. I've watched a couple of your recommendations now and had a really good time. I'm half way through DMC and it's great. It's similar to Cromartie High, but while that one didn't really do anything for me DMC is just so over the top abrasive it's won me over. They'd never get away with this sort of thing on TV.

But even better was Magical Pokaan. It might be because I just finished it off, but I really think it's one of the funniest anime out there. It hits that 00s aesthetic perfectly and the characters dynamic is amazing. I love them all equally, but Aiko far more equally. She's one of my new favourite characters: really ticks all the boxes. I've seen the show posted on /a/ occasionally, but I doubt I would have ever given it a shot without your rec. Thanks.

I reckon I'll go through some of the shorts you sent next, I watched Majokko Tsukune-chan a few weeks back and it was a fun time.
