Majo no Tabitabi

A youth, due to various circumstances, is on an aimless journey around the world they live in. The series tells the stories of their adventures and the day to day lives of the people they meet. 

Pieces of Anime Literature. Contextually speaking, both should be viewed in the perspective that places the protagonist in a neutral position and can only act within their limitations of what they can and cannot do in their respective worlds. Morality and the human condition is greatly explored in these episodic chapters within a beautiful and yet sometimes twisted world. Kino no Tabi focuses more on the antithesis of a world that is not beautiful yet brings some sort of beauty and Majo no Tabitabi explores the similar conceptions but within the realm of fantasy & magic. Both of these shows are about a travelling mage that explores the world diverse in magical culture and beauty. Elaina & Frieren both carry themselves as expert practitioners of the magical arts who have rather similar dispositions and are protégés of formidable mages. Vagabond by nature; they both explore the world to learn about the cultures & morality of its people and help them along the way where it is pragmatically feasible. Though travel & adventure is the main concept, Magical academies & institutions exists in both shows and highlights a certain degree of intricate magical power systems and laws. If you enjoy the world building and exploration of magical worlds, these shows are for you. read more 

Both MCs are witches and have a peaceful story with a little shoujo-ai teasing. 

- MCs are travelers, both in a new place each episode - Ginko is pretty mysterious whereas we know the origin of the Elaina - Iyashikei with occasional darker elements - Supernatural elements and creatures in both 

While fundamentally different in purpose and tone (Majo no Tabitabi being a moody achronological adventure narrative within a medieval fantasy and Violet Evergarden being a drama-driven episodic story within a steampunk bohemian setting), both series have a similar interactive atmosphere and episodic storytelling where the main heroines meet and interact with other people and places throughout their journeys. Stories in both series are a mixture of lighthearted, emotional, tragic, or bittersweet. Both series’ respective titular protagonists, while almost completely different in personality (Elaina being a young happy-go-lucky witch wanting to explore the world, and Violet being a former tool of war trying to fit into normal society), are extremely well-written and complex in terms of their characterization to the point of being quite relatable and practical in nature. With their tales, we also get to know more about their respective backstories and see them grow and develop along the way. While they’re both very kind and understanding and will try to help whatever is within their means, they both at some point realize the hard way that not everything/everyone can be solved/saved, which adds more to their character complexity. read more 

In both of the animes, the main characters' dream is to travel around the world in order to learn about their culture and meeting new people. They both leave their nest and goes on a long journey with no end 

Both anime's are about a young witch who leaves there home and goes out on a Adventure, on this Adventure the Witch meets new friends and find's out more about the world.

Both are about female witch protagonists who go on solo journeys. There aren't a lot of anime with this same premise 

both mc are wandering the world ,the side character is kind that it kind of strange majo no tabitabil character go to house without permission and Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou there talk without holding a gun in a doomday world 

Told through the perspective of a witty and cynical protagonist, both shows tell episodic stories themed around human nature and societal critiques. 

-Both animes are about traveling and going on a new journey, city to city. Somali is about a kid going on a journey with her father golem to search for her real parents while Tabitabi is about a young witch who desired to travel ever since she was a kid to explore the new worlds. -Every episode seems to be episodic where they never stay in one place, but rather travels and meet new cities and people -Both are light-hearted, relaxing animes to watch. If you love one, you'll definitely love the other -Both meet meaningful connections with characters and are off again to find their next destination  read more 

Sceneries can be beautiful isn’t it? Yea it is, but what’s really unusual is that I’m comparing a traveling anime series, which is Majo no Tabitabi with a mystical and mysterious anime, Yofukashi no uta. Yes you see no similarities, but what’s really sight seeing is again, the scenery, the designs are really pleasing to any person’s eyes. Another realization i can point out is that Nazuna and Elaina both fly wherever they go. They also have a sense of magic. And they are not really interested in sex and perverts. They use their power to punish or make the person suffer until they learned against their consequences. Places can be quiet for them and not a lot of people can be seen in both animes.  read more 

Mahoutsukai no Yome has a different starting point and is more introspective, but it has the similarity of giving a message for each chapter and having a female protagonist with a kind character. In MnY the protagonist influences the story more than in MnT, although at certain times she will only have the opportunity to admire the story of others. 

both of them r about going two new places , as for agi sinbad it about unifying the world on the other hand Majo no Tabitabi is about going to new places and getting to know about them 

While watching this anime it Reminds me of Shinigami no Ballad it doesn't have any linear Story, I'm sure if you'd try watching this anime you'll feel the same 

Two shows that have almost nothing in common to a casual observer. But they are very similar emotionally. To me, they are both the anime equivalent of drinking a hot cup of tea, under a blanket, as you get snowed in. They are both very comfy, warm and oddly entrancing.  

- Both have what could be described as at least partially narcissistic protagonists, although they still remain charming at times and don’t seem to actively WANT to hurt anyone. - Both involve supernatural happenings, although Haruhi’s are much less frequent. - Both are more akin to collections of short stories (episodic) as opposed to one larger overarching plotline. - Both originated from Light Novels. - Both involve little to no romance, as whatever feelings there are get overshadowed by the protagonist’s hesitancy to get too close to anyone else. 

They are both very different but both have a cute magical girls and dark twists. 

they're two underrated witch anime that came out the same year, neither are really all that special but are both cute fun 

- Both feature fantastical worlds that the main character(s) travel across - Both have several episodic plots within the overarching journey - Both can get quite heavy at times - Both rely heavily on the notion that one’s journey is more important than the destination itself - Both treat their protagonists are mere ‘observers’ in worldly affairs for the most part, often being a window through the supporting characters can be show to viewers 

-MC is a female who sets out on a journey involving different witches and magic -MC are innocent and young women learning how to grow up with the help of a wide variety of characters they meet on their journey. -MC has a loving and supportive family who oversees their growth -Asthetically pleasing scenery and background setting in a fantasy world -Elaina is more of an episodic drama and comedic fantasy while Howl's has an overarching action and romance fantasy with a large scale conflict. -Howl's deals with a far more supernatural world where a walking scarecrow and a fireball are sentient while Elaina deals with more human-imposed magical abilities. Don't be fooled, both series do have point where the story becomes dark and emotional despite the initial light-heartedness setup in the beginning. read more 

Both series are about witches learning spells, magic, and charms as they discover the mystery, darkness, and beauty of their charming yet sinister and well-developed world. 

The 2 are witch animes what else do you want the only difference is that in one the protagonist goes to a magic school and in the other she has already graduated and travels the world. 

Both animes have protagonists that shares the desire of exploring the world in a journey. The scenery are beautiful in both series, including natural landscapes, human settlements and, potentially, different specimens of beasts. The embodiment of adventure itself. 

In their magical fantasy worlds, the protagonists become apprentices and eventually become full-fledged witches/alchemists. After mastering their craft, they head out to the world and begin exploring. 

Both feature a headstrong female lead on a journey of self-discovery in a fantasy setting, and they share the same tendency towards sarcastic and absurdist humour. 

Both are about witches and have a similar relaxing vibe. Flying witch has more slice of life elements in a modern setting. Majo no Tabitabi has more adventure elements in a fantasy/medieval setting.  

The 2 are witch animes what else do you want one is about a witch who travels the world and the other of 2 witches who have to save the world. 

this is the first time i have written a recommendation so bear with me both are about witches and at some point they go back in time, majo no tabitabi is an adventure and light comedy mixed with episodes that will surprise you and about funny / sad situations in which she finds herself, while Irozuku Sekai no Ashita is about journey in which she learns to enjoy life. Also both have white / ash hair. 

I believe that they are both similar because 1) the setting is on a fantasy world even though Majo no Tabitabi is not an isekai. 2) both MCs are very knowledgable and they both love books 3) We can see that they both a loving family. Lastly, it premieres in Muse Asia. Both Mcs are set to their Goals and they are not giving up. The source materials of these shows are highly rated tankobons. 

Similarities: Both protagonists are dedicated and determined to the point where they're the youngest to accomplish something. In K&M, it's a knight runner. In WW, it's a witch. Both are magic fantasy anime. Both protagonists have white hair. Differences: K&M is an isekai, WW is not an isekai. K&M is an action anime, WW is an adventure anime. K&M has a male protagonist, WW has a female protagonist.
