I watch anime here and there a few at a time. I like cooking delicious food when I can afford it. I usually spend my free times playing games or watching anime. I like spending vacation time with seasonal activities e,g skiing, swimming, hiking, biking. I'm normally a somewhat quiet/reserved individual but I can sometimes become overly talkative and turn into a nerd using my brain a bunch when sleep deprived (sorry).
It's hard to pick favorites but If I had to pick my favorite anime is Shadows House, favorite manga is Tsubasa Chronicle and favorite character is Myne.
I try to rate anime as objectively as I can based on their contents and not my personal preferences. Example Take: "I dislike romance genre anime however the story and characters are well written in this anime and would be an enjoyable watch 8/10." I personally dislike anime that has too much "fan service" or such content in it.
My ratings are designed as follows:
A rating of 3 or below is:
Not worth even considering, anything I rate in this range tend to have major flaws that affect enjoyment or even "watchability" of the show such as but certainly not limited to, horrible animation production and quality, poor story and writing, "awful" characters etc.
A rating of 4-6 is:
Maybe passable but highly depending on the person watching to decide whether they'll like it, everything listed here tends to be a gamble with a possibility of poor story and writing, bad animation production and quality and "bad" characters. Everything here however has enough good points to make it a good watch depending on the viewers personal preferences e,g "Shounen with decently well animated and entertaining fight scenes but fairly annoying characters and mediocre story"
A rating of 7-8 will have:
Generally a good watch with a 7/10 having a fair amount of flaws or lacking in some areas here and there but not enough to ruin enjoyment with generally watchable story and entertaining writing or characters and at least visually passable animation and production quality. A 8/10 will generally be a step up over a 7/10 in most ways and be a better watch depending on what the viewer (you) likes. Anything rated here may be from a passable to a very enjoyable watch depending on what you like.
A rating of 9 means:
A very good watch and will certainly be worth your time, everything rated here will have a good story, writing, characters, and generally good animation. However have a certain aspect or two that fall slightly short of truly reaching a 10/10 masterpiece e,g average animation quality, a bit lacking musical quality, slightly disappointing or slightly lackluster above average story, good but only somewhat above average characters and writing etc. Everything I rate a 9/10 is a very solid watch.
A rating of 10 will of course be:
A true masterpiece that you should be watching next if you haven't already, the few that make this rating have more than good enough or outstanding animation, well written characters and a good story combined with good music and directing to make for a excellent and sometimes breathtaking and emotional watch. Anything rated here I’ve also personally loved watching, and I can say without a doubt it is objectively a 10/10 masterpiece. If you disagree you have bad taste, go and get some better taste (just kidding xD).
As a reminder I "try" to rate everything I watch objectively, however because I am human and will obviously screw stuff up because of that, you may disagree with my ratings and that's fine. Just don't bother me with or argue twitter style with me over it. I try and rate things as objectively as I can which also means I sometimes rate things low, even if I really enjoyed it.
My personal anime list is mostly filled in with what I've watched, Manga list is missing a bit cause I'm too lazy to fill it in.
It would probably be accurate to say that I occasionally, or have a small amount of interest with reading manga. I normally read manga's based on anime I watched and liked that doesn't have a full adaption/won't get a full adaption or I liked the anime but it was a poor adaption and the manga is generally better. I generally don't read manga when there's a full anime adaption or it's unnecessary to read the manga after watching the anime. I don't have all the time in the world to get through my watch list. Though sometimes I end up reading some manga anyways before it gets an anime/before I watch the anime or for one that never gets an anime xD.
