Both of these Winter 2018 anime run primarily on small things being adorable. Both are light-hearted, sweet series that will make you go "Awww!" several times an episode, even if that's pretty much all they do.

Adorable slice-of-life comedies about taking care of little children.
report Recommended by justice0
Both anime have a heartwarming, family-oriented storyline and feature a male character taking care of a young child.
report Recommended by FAKECROSS97
Similarites: Both are slice of life anime related to taking care of kids. Differences: Amaama to Inazuma focuses more on cooking while Gakuen Babysitters is a school anime with a little romance.
report Recommended by jojomyanimelist
To me they both feel similar because of the family-like topics they have. They can both have cute and sad moments too (Gakuen Babysitters being a lot more friendly with it) But yeah overall you should see Kotarou Lives Alone if you want something more deep yet similar to Gakeun Babysitters.

Similarities: Both are non-romance slice of life anime that involves kids. Differences: Poco's Udon World has fantasy elements, and focuses more on life decisions people make when they are in their thirties while Gakuen Babysitters is a realist anime with more comedy elements and romance.

These two animated shows differ a lot, however they have many common elements. Both present hardships of properly raising a child that had to spend some time in the orphanage by people who were not ready for such task (whether they were the kid's relatives or complete strangers), but had to switch into parents replacement because of certain things happening in their lives.

Both feature parental figures in their teens Both have main characters with parents who have passed away Both feature kids in a daycare centre interacting and learning Both are overall pretty cute, funny and have some progression with other characters interjecting into the plot and developing Both are light hearted, slow paced and serious themes come appear occasionally

Character driven comedy

Both anime have a slice-of-life feel, focus on the theme of family, and feature a young boy as a central character.

Both of the anime about brother taking care of each other.
report Recommended by chatchalita
They are similar in love to brother And the brotherly interest of some of them The secondary characters are interesting And also the presence of custody The existence of the school and the fact that the hero is a secondary student ....... Their similarities are many

Both have characters that became orphans and have to take care of children
report Recommended by hayaki
Both are powerful bittersweet tales about a character moving on from their parents deaths and learning the ropes of guardianship as they begin to take care of another. Gakuen Babysitters differs as the protagonist becomes the guardian of his younger brother and begins working as a babysitter for a school. While My Roommate is a Cat involves the protagonist looking after a pet cat. If you enjoyed the sweet, heartwarming environment one created you will likely enjoy the other as well.

The Main Character lost his parents, and starts working at the house of his relatives. diffrence might be, the MC is not forced to do this, like here Ryuu. more likely he forces him self to do this, so he can live "properly". Without feeling "i live here for free".

> Cute small creatures doing cute things > Light hearted comedy > Few emotional moments > Similar art style/atmosphere If you're looking for something to cleanse your soul, watch the other one too
report Recommended by guddi
Both are iyashikei, well deserving of the genre. While Gakuen babysitters focuses on children and Cool Doji Danshi focuses on adults, both show have moments when the characters learn about life in general but also the importance of sticking together. The shows are also binge worthy and at a good length to watch in a single day.

Both are light hearted comedies ishivekais slice of life about cute boys taking care of toddlers that features a similar art style and character designs. the main difference is that one is BL

It is a happy-go-lucky slice-of-life with some nice jokes here and there. Clannad is by far more intelligent in his themes and is a lot more complex than this show ever wanted to be. It is not a masterpiece but is more interesting than the 12 episodes of this anime.

Honestly they both have really cutesy stuff. But this one (Beelzebub) has a very specific fluffy aesthetic. It's a lot more fluffy to be honest and it's cute in a different way but I still think they're similar. :))

Chid-rearing anime with cute kids and cute guys

Both of these anime are really cute and funny

Both involve babies! Beelzebub is definitely more action packed and really jumps into the comedy aspect of things, but I can guarantee that if you love one you'll love the other.

This relatively invisible series is quite the gem. It follows a childcare worker in Tokyo on his many, many adventures with the children he looks over. Based on a real person’s tweets from earlier in 2012, apparently. It’s literal children say/do the darnedest things.

Both shows revolve around a bunch of little kids The characters are very alike, Boo is like Kotarou, nanny is like Kirin and Himawari is like Midori chan The kids cause trouble

If you liked the cuteness/wholesomeness side of maid dragon, you will definitely like garden babysitters. THE MOST WHOLESOME SHOW EVERR. It's fun to chill and watch and does NOT have some of the mature/ecchi themes maid dragon has.

Both MCs have to take care of children/a little child. Both MCs share a sibling relationship with the child: one of them being blood-related to the child and the having a cousin type of relationship. Both MCs care greatly fore their charge. Both MCs have to take care of charge who have a tragic past: one of them having parents who died in a plane crash and the other having their father die and their mother leaving them to be cared for by distant relatives. However, Ashiteruzu Baby is also romanced based which is unlike Gakuen Babysitters.

Both involve babies! Uramichi Oniisan has more scenes that pours into the struggles of adulthood and how adults deal and revolve around the simplicity of the children.

Extremely similar art style and humour, almost identical highschool's club setting. Both a good laugh with cute looking characters and a lot of chill vibes with some lowkey, tearjerking drama.

Both of these anime have small things being adorable (Baby vs. ghost). They both are a sweet series that will make you go "Awww!" several times each episode, while still having emotional moments.
report Recommended by fanimes
Both are shows about a guy in his late teens taking care of a kid that lost his/her parents. In Gakuen Babysitters the older brother takes care of his younger brother after the death of their parents, in If it's for my Daughter... an adventurer takes care of a devil girl he meets in the forest after her father dies. Also both shows are cute as hell and make a lot childfree people (like me) want to reconsider their reproductive choices.

Small children. Must protect. Cute chemistry of kuudere/tsundere and a quietish character. Slice of life
report Recommended by Kaguyachinchin
If you enjoy the very rare Cute Guys Doing Cute Things trope in anime, then this recommendation is up your alley. Not only do we see young and cute boys partaking in activities considered traditionally as feminine, but you also get to see them grow closer to each other as of their interest and involvement in said activities.

Both anime have some small things that make it just adorable to watch. The both of them have some "kind of" sad part in their slice of life story that spice some things up.
report Recommended by Neischen
Both have toddler/children and are slice of life animes, however Daa!Daa!Daa! has aliens while Gakuen Babysitters are human based. Both are focused around the theme of "Family".
report Recommended by DaiikonRadish
Both show shows the power of friendship. Between two anime, we can see how pure child heart.
report Recommended by boyoungsi
Relaxing and sweet anime that can have some emotional moments too.

- Both (generally) light hearted - Lots of fluff - Feel good - Adorable animation

My first thought when I watched Ore Monogatari was that it was a "happy" anime: it has a plot but it's mostly episodic, the main characters are incredibly nice people and seeing their interactions and struggles was as heartwarming as you can imagine. Well, that "happy" feeling was all over me again during every episode of Gakuen Babysitters: it does things a little differently, focusing more on family rather than a romantic relationship, but it was all there: a heartfelt warmth that could made me forget anything negative going around my head.
