Hi! I'm SaiDrew (the "Sai" stands for "Sailor") and I'm a huuuge Sailor Moon fan (hence the "Sai" ;) ).


Well, as a kid I used to watch a few series such as Saint Seiya (the very first anime I recall being a fan of; I must've been 5 or 6 years old) Slayers, DBZ and then Pokemon, Digimon and Medabots. However, at that time, I didn't consider myself to be an anime fan simply because I watched what I felt like and it wasn't like I had a special interest for Japanese series.

After I turned 12-14 (I guess) I stopped watching anime, and for quite a long time. Until that point I had always watched series on tv but around that time public interest in anime had faded away so, basically, every channel stopped broadcasting it altogether. That left me with no option to watch series on, since I didn't have internet either.

It wasn't until 2013 that I re-started watching anime. It all began with a Sailor Moon episode on youtube, which hooked me to the franchise as a whole. Then I went on to watch Inuyasha, Aa! Megami-sama (the 2005 series) Kill la Kill... And each of them help me to discover more and more series.

In regards to manga, my first series was Sailor Moon but I haven't read many series. The longest one I have read is Aa! Megami-sama, which became one of my favorites.

Now, as for Sailor Moon... that deserves a separate paragraph.

The first memory of Sailor Moon I have is from episode 10 (when Usagi disguises herself as a stewardess), when I was around 6. However, her short skirt made me very uncomfortable so I didn't watch it again.

When I finally got to watch SM again, the skirt wasn't an issue, and so I was able to watch it entirely. The very first thing that caught my eye was Sailor Moon's transformation sequence; I thought it was so cool. However, I didn't become so invested in the show until episode 8. There Ami was introduced and in episode 10, Rei. From there on I got obsessed with the series, racing through all the 200 ep, movies and ovas. The manga was next and then I continued with the musicals and pgsm (although I haven't finished watching the latter two).

In 2014 I watched Crystal but I didn't like it honestly, at least the first 2 seasons. The third one is better though.

Next is a list of series that didn't quite make it into my favourites. I highly recommend them!

I love both playing and watching videogames, it's been one of my passions since I was 8. My favourite videogames are Pokemon, which I play on Showdown! under the tag "D8rew", The Legend of Zelda and Super Smash Bros, which I also follow competitively as a viewer.

I'm also interested in sports, mainly football, and learning languages.
