Both of these Winter 2018 anime run primarily on small things being adorable. Both are light-hearted, sweet series that will make you go "Awww!" several times an episode, even if that's pretty much all they do.
Teenagers still in education looking after a youngling.
Main difference is that Gakubaby looks after babies and Miira looks after small mythical beings.
Both are light and wholesome with characters and moments that make you feel happiness but there are some serious moments mixed in too.
They also aired on the same season so they're very interchangeable plus are backed by Sanrio what with Gakubaby's commercial break cards and Miira's end cards.

If you want something that's light and cheers you up, then try it. Both have the genres slice of life and comedy.

These are both so cute and simple and feel similar in the way that it's about teenagers taking care of small, adorable creatures.
Instead of babies, the main characters take care of adorable creatures (emphasis on the word ADORABLE). It gives you the same heartwarming you get in Gakubaby.
Loaded with cuteness and a bit of comedy. Both shows have a similar and relaxing premise

Both stories revolve around the main character(s) looking after adorable things. In Gakuen Babysitters, it’s small children, in Miira no Kaikata, it’s small mythical creatures. Both are light, funny and will repeatedly make you go ‘Awwww’.

Basically both series are similar and relaxing with a bit of comedy and cuteness.
Both are lighthearted comedy’s with adorable characters. Either a mummy or a dozens of Baby’s, both will make you explode from all the cuteness.
