Both involve a MC who is essentially raising a child that is not theirs
Both give you a dose of warm happy feeling after watching
Both involve cute kids (and not the lolicon-bait kind)
If you like one, you will almost certainly like the other

Both series center around a heartwarming story revolving around the MC having to take care of little children. While Usagi Drop solely focuses on a single child, School Babysitters involves a colorful cast of children

Both shows deal with childcare from and MC who are but into the position kinda out of the blue.
- Both shows for the most part are very lighthearted
- Both shows give examples of how childcare can be fun and meaningful
- Both shows give a more or less realistic idea of childcare
Both have the same vibe. Children are both being cared for after being orphaned. They share cute moments and growing through major changes in life.
