Very similar plot - shy and timid girls gets saved by popular guy in school. Both very cute and sparkly - a good read for mood raising.
reportRecommended by edwassas
Both girls have a person who's anonymous through internet protecting them through hard times. The drama and depth in Dengeki Daisy is deeper then Koko ni Iru yo and at the same time has more comedy in it. Koko ni Iru yo is a shorter story.

- an accident before classes begin; - the protagonist is hospitalized; - going to classes late; - and has trouble socializing; - she speaks with a popular boy; - and finds in him the love and the chance to change; - both are romance.

Both to me had similar feel when you are reading them, both are really cute. Fruits Basket has: comedy drama romance and shoujo. Koko ni Iru yo! has: romance school school life and shoujo. Both are really good if you like one i think that you will like the other :).

It's written by the same author: Watashi ni xx Shinasai is about a girl who has been cut from social contact from her peers, resulting in the fact that she knows no social skills. She is writing a novel, but her readers are desiring their to be more love instead of always friendship. The male lead is the most popular boy in the class, but he is actually quite unkind and a complete liar. The story is basically about how she blackmails him, after finding out his terrible secret, so that she can learn more about friendship and love. "Koko Ni Iru Yo" is a contrasting story,  read more

The main characters are VERY similar. They both are practically invisible to everyone with out any friends. So unseen people can't see or hear them, they feel no real presence at all. Till a day when some boys notice them. But in Koko ni its more realistic without any magical stuff, and less boys. BUT! It doesn't change that they're both similar and really good stories!
reportRecommended by animelover4ver
Main male characters are pretty similar in a way also, the story unfolds similarly. You could just add a cooking element and lots of food allusions about love then you could have Kitchen Princess. And, Kitchen princess is quite a bit more dramatic.

In Koe no Katachi and Koko ni Iru yo! there are main characters that are school students who have difficulty communicating with the others in their class, and are subjected to bullying by classmates.

If you like the author of Pixie pop than you might take a likeing to Koko Ni Iru Yo!This manga is about a shy girl. She is so shy that hardly anybody know she's there. The only friends she has are the two who comment on her blog, but she doesn't know there faces.BUT what happens when one of the most popular guys in school confess?READ and find out for yourself...!:D
reportRecommended by Sweetlollipop
They both deal with girls being bullied in school over some 'silly' reasons and how they must over come them with strength of the mind.
reportRecommended by VioletRebellion
Both girls want to change themselves and are helped out by popular boys. In both series, there is some sort of romantic attraction between the female protagonists and the guys helping them through the changes.
reportRecommended by Pyapi
The plot is really similar, the girl has problems while talking to boys, but then she falls in love with the most popular guys at school, and has to choose one of them.

A Sign of Affection and I Am Here are two shoujo manga series following a really shy female student and her budding relationship with at least one boy who is really popular with their peers. I Am Here adds a lot more drama, but otherwise the tone of how the story is paced and the characters' interactions feels really similar, especially with how mobile phones play a part in the story. The art of both series are also really beautiful and aesthetically pleasing!

Golden Japanesque and I Am Here are two shoujo manga featuring a shy girl who underestimates herself and/or her appearance as the main character. But the one who tries to help better herself is a boy who gives her respect unlike what everyone else would do, and the two seem to grow feelings for each other before another boy comes into the picture. These two manga are also beautiful series in both art and content, as our female protagonist learns to stand up for herself and against those who oppose and try to sabotage her.

No Match for Aoi-kun and I Am Here are two manga aimed at girls (Aoi-kun is josei while I Am Here is shoujo) with a main character who is a bit shy about their interests and just kinda keeps to themselves at school. However, after a surprise encounter, the main character starts to get friends and slowly realizes over time how they've begun to open up to others. The art is also just as wholesome as the story for both manga.

In both series, the main male protagonist meets a girl from the Internet. They have their own nicknames but later on gets to know each other in real life. Both the main characters in the series are considered sort of as loners but they open up more as the series progresses. Both manga has themes of drama, romance, and comedy.

Similar concepts: a girl who feels "invisible" and posts on social media all the time becomes "found" by a cool and popular guy and begins to make friends in real life as well.
reportRecommended by MeNaK
Very similar feel when reading. Girl has trouble expressing her true feelings but meets a cool guy who helps her out. There are a lot of frustrating situations that could be avoided if the girl would just say what she thought (which you will either love or hate). Both also have a very "cute" art style and involve middle schoolers.
reportRecommended by MeNaK
Both about shy girl who are not noticed by those around them except by two of the most popular guys. Similar art as well ~
reportRecommended by kiirochi
Both female protagonists have very similar traits, extremely shy, easily embarrassed. If you liked Koko ni Iru yo! and you're looking for a quick one shot to read, I'd recommend looking through Sekigae. Heartwarming, cute, and enjoyable to read.

Plucky loners find love with popular boys.
reportRecommended by Jerakor
Both female protagonists in these manga are shy and kind-hearted. They both desire acceptance and stronger presence in their schools. The popular male leads help the female protagonists and eventually fall in love with her

- Online chating - both the girl didn't know that the person that she is chatting with is actually someone who she knows - romance

The Witch and Her First Love and I Am Here are two shoujo romance manga about a school girl who feels distant compared to her peers, whether it be caused by rumors or just generally not being noticed. The girl soon finds a boy who notices and acknowledges her presence, making her feel happy and slowly open up to others. Both manga also have decent art.

-Both have a certain sweetness and simplicity to them, while also touching on the topic of rejection by those around you who don't even care to get to know you before excluding you. -Both involve a lonely and somewhat isolated Main Character meeting her "prince" and beginning to make friends with those around them. -Have a similar 4 main characters, while also having them feel unique. -I read both of these grinning the whole time and wanting to see more. -The main characters have a similar hair style and personality, both being sweet and just wanting acceptance and inclusion by the ones that occupy the world around them.

Mashikaku Rock and Koko ni Iru yo! don't have many similar aspects. But in both of these works, the main female character (Kitagawa/Sumino) is a quiet, unnoticable person. But that changes when she meets a main male character (Azuma/Mutou) who shows the female that they should voice their opinions.
reportRecommended by Hata_Mig
The female lead in both I Am Here and Komi Can't Communicate both suffer from social anxiety and wish to get over it so that they can make friends. The social anxiety is depicted more severely and for comedy's sake in Komi Can't Communicate, though.
reportRecommended by Fario-P
In both manga, the main character has trouble speaking with others (is alone) and tries to make friends. They both take care of a plant and catches a popular boy's attention, who helps them make friends. The art is really cute and if you love sweet romances, these two are sure to leave you smiling! <3

Making blogs and love ensues.
reportRecommended by Personas
Both stories deal with an innocent girl (Ninako/Sumino) who begins to like the cool, popular guy (Ren/Hinata), and the guy's blonde best friend (Andou/Teru) also begins to fall for the girl, forming a love triangle. Both guys have to fight each other to win the girl's affection. While Strobe Edge is more deep and involved with many love plots going on, Koko ni Iru yo! is straightforward and also shorter in length.
reportRecommended by zuzoa
Both of the manga star shy girls who are encouraged and given advice through people online. In Bokutachi wa Shitte Shimatta, it's on her DS, in Koko ni Iru yo!, it's on her blog.
reportRecommended by Emiey
While reading, I always thought about Natsume when Teru apeared. also- that love triangle is so similar to the love triangle in Gakuen Alice. But I liked Mikan more than Sumino. She is much stronger and much more funny. The comedy in both of them is similar and really amusing.
reportRecommended by LiCha
Both are about girls who want to be more in the spot light than they are (in Koko ni iru yo, the main character is rearely ever noticed) and popular guys notice her and try to help her. Even though their methods are different. (through blog in Koko ne iru yo, and in person in Nagareboshi Lens)
reportRecommended by kikima34
both are about lonely girls who eventually open up to their surrounds and make friends, due to the help of a cute boy
reportRecommended by gaarasbff
Female character runs a blog, and there's a guy (closer than the main chara thinks) who usually reads it.
reportRecommended by Kiiroi
Both series give you that "warm" feeling about them. Main character in "Koko ni iru yo!" overcomes her problems and loneliness with friends help just like Keito did.
reportRecommended by Lisiak
both stories are about a very shy girl who wants to gain confidence
reportRecommended by gaarasbff
Both to me had a similar "feel" to them because they were both REALLY CUTE and about a girl who doesn't fit in at first in her school at furst but after meeting and becoming friends with nice guy she starts to make lots of friends and have a normal school life that is until things get complicated...i really think that if you like one of these mangas then you will like the other one :)

Both girls, Yuki and Sumino, are very shy and thus have great difficulties in making friends. They learn how to socialize thanks to the boy they like.
reportRecommended by -LU-
Both have a shy heroine that opens up little by little.
reportRecommended by Jruru
Both main characters are shy and have trouble speaking up for themselves. And both girls are working hard for their dreams.
reportRecommended by Jruru
Same genres, both titles are about changing oneself. In both, the main character is falling in love with the one who changed her.
reportRecommended by Floolight
Very shy (and kind of weak) female lead- is looking for a "girl"-friend. two knights in shining armour helping the girl out. there's character growth which makes it better towards the end. koko ni iru yo involves blog writing as well. The artwork are both pretty.
reportRecommended by kiiroibara
Both those manga's have main girl leads who are shy, and have no friends. They both make me want to cry, though koko ni iru yo is amazing - but since Chikyuu is still new maybe it will turn out amazing too. anyway they both seem to be touching stories.
reportRecommended by Nami_24
Both are very cute shoujo manga that involve flowers as a plot device to represent growth of the character. The main characters are very different in personality though, so it's not just like the same story with different names.
reportRecommended by ice_cream_zombie
Although there is a big difference, I find it similar how two best friends falls inlove with the same girl at the same time. And also, while dating the heroine of the story. A bit of comedy I suppose is also a similarity between the two
reportRecommended by cherichelly
Both girls are alone and write down their feelings in someway to make themselves feel at ease. PLUS! there is a little bit of love triangle on Hitoribocchi and mainly Koko ni iru yo is.
reportRecommended by cherichelly
these 2 r simililar by a person alwasy trying to hide themself and want to change but cant because their will be trobles changing and getting trobles from others untill some1 ends up helping 1 another to not keep hidden
