Oh, noice! I remember seeing a bunch of stickers of Pokemon at the couple of cons I've been to, but nothing for Yu-Gi-Oh or Kingdom Hearts (not sure about Dream Drop Distance). I actually went to Japan a couple of weeks ago and was given stickers when I bought a bit of Pokemon merch there as a bonus.

Nothing too surpring in terms of merch at the cons I went to. The big surprise was just how many people were all in on Hazbin Hotel costumes. Might have outnumbered all the anime costumes.

Did I tell you that I ended up applying for a mod position? I got turned down because, according to the mod I spoke to, I "didn't have the knowledge to moderate effectively, and lacked the brainpower to be taught how to mod." (Not an exact quote, but that's effectively what they said). Super bogus, and also a super bummer :/ I feel like I could do a lot of good since they're so overwhelmed, but what can ya do.

I just mean that even if I wanted to it would be hard. Like...it would be nice to put a story out there for people to read but you can't really do that

Yes, I'm looking forward to the re-release of Rozen Maiden, Although last year I brought the JPN edition, I simply do not believe I can have too many copies of a series. seeing how I own two complete copies of Sailor Moon and Tokyo Mew Mew . omg a fellow yumeiro patissiere fan !!! let me just say i've been playing the ds game that came out for it and i really really love it ! besides being super adorable art wise the gameplay is simple enough that i can play along without having to translate everything !!! its like cooking Mama but sweets only added with in my opinion even cuter art . ohh im sorry about ur slump i've been wanting to do art alot lately but ive just been overwhelmed with homework ugh it sucks because i've had so many ideas lately too . if your looking for st.dragon girl volumes you can check thrift books they have them but they are ex library copies !!!

Yes doesnt surprise me, i'm the same when it comes to drawing. I guess its quite common in people who like to draw. Well original drawings is the same, just need more relaxing and self confidence most of the time, at least for me. Maybe the same for you since we seemed to have quite similar functionning in that area. Yes, a supportive environment is very often a needed thing indeed for continuing to draw and getting pleasure out of it for most drawers from what i've heard so indeed.

Oh, it's so nice to meet someone with a similar background! For the last two years, I've been buying manga series I used to read at my public library, or that my friends would bring their own copies to school with that I could never find at my local bookstores! things are so much easier now with the trusty old internet and all the different used book-buying websites out there. That is how I was able to buy Shugo Chara book copies despite the fact I own the re-release in Japanese. I really wanted to buy it in English, but I'm still looking for a few other series, like English Rozen Maiden and St. Dragon Girl. I mainly draw during my summer breaks from school because when I'm doing class, it feels so overwhelming I just wanna spend my free time reading or playing video games! It's so cool that you draw fan art for fairy idol Kanon, tho, omg !!! sometimes, I find myself writing short stories for minky momo and other older magical girl series for fun . i dont really share any of my stuff i create online tho , do you ?

I started reading fairy idol kanon when I was in middle school, recently, when I moved and I was packing up all my manga, I found my old volume one and decided in 2022 to try and buy the rest of the series. I only finished it up a few months ago because I couldn't find the last volume, but I'm really glad I did. how did you find the series? it was randomly in a bookstore i went to a lot in middle school, but it only had volume one, so I had to wait years for volume 2, haha, but i was always really in love with the first volume, mainly the art style

Usually i tend to let drawing drop when i dont feel competent for it enough and stress out over the quality of what i draw, its easier said that done but i think stop to stress over drawing performance and draw again just for pleasure of doing it is the way to go around that issue. When i'm hesitating i usually draw with a model to do less errors and then come back to draw original stuff i've fully imagined when i feel confident enough for that again maybe you can too go back to draw with that method perhaps?

I'm trying to do an art challenge this year! My friends recommended cringetober, so I'm working on that right now, even if I usually finish the drawing the next day because I forget a lot haha

Yeah Mal is useful for me to remember stuff I,ve seen to advice on people for new manga to see and me to get ideas of new stuff to watch and keep contact with few people like you I ve befriended here but that s all. The misogyny of the majority here is just not worth more of my time and energy tbh, damn that guys complain not having a girl h24 and do everything to drive away even the girls who share their hobbies go figure. Not seem to be able to change really and there were here for longer than me so yes I rather go elsewhere most possible instead of heated useless discussion of that kind all time. You know as weird as it seems to many in a anime website I expected and would have like most discussion to be about some stuff like well anime and manga for example as astonishing as it may be to some in Mal and not always only of the sexual frustration of involontary celibate guys but mal made it obvious it s not gonna happen any time soon here at least in the most popular discussion, so that’s it. Thank you for have tried to change it but clearly we can’t if the majority so strongly oppose it so let’s have fun on our own elsewhere instead yes.

Yeah trying new food is always an interesting experience. Now natto have a strong scent and taste I must say but I do like this kind of food so it was ok for me maybe it’s for you if you like that but some people strongly dislike it, it’s the kind of foo you either love or hate.

Yeah I draw too. I didn’t since last week because I was in holiday but usually I draw everyday. Happy that get us another common hobby.
