I watch anime for fun. Sometimes. I also think that some anime and manga offer one of best and compelling storyline a narrative can offer. I want to watch more anime and read more manga as much as I can, but sadly I still go to school.
These ratings are completely objective (just kidding). If you want to discuss further with my ratings or reviews, feel free.
10: A 10 for me means I absolutely love everything about the work. Maybe these works have flaws, but to me, they are perfect in my eyes. I can easily reread or watch these series again and again and at the same time, rant about their strengths for hours. These series have destroyed my emotions, taught me some things, and changed my perspective. I believe that these series are a masterpiece of a narrative or story, having brilliant story elements, writing, characters, development, and presentation.
9: What separates from a 10 to a 9 is simple. If I give a 9 instead of a 10, that means I do love these series, but there are some aspects that are missing to completely capture my heart. Whether these aspects are just my personal preferences or critical judgement, I still think that the rank 9 series are one of the best from what I have seen.
8: This means that I find these series very enjoyable, but I am not completely obsessed with compared to the 9 and 10 series. I do really like them, and I could probably have a fun conversation about these series with anyone. I may sometimes go back and check out these series if I have spare time. And I would totally recommend these series to others.
7: A score of 7 means that I think the show is overall good. I enjoyed the series from start to finish, but there may be several critical flaws. These series are not bad whatsoever, but I may consider revisit them if I am bored. Otherwise, these works under this score is solid.
6: Eh, series earning a 6 from me means that its average. There are definitely some flaws I couldn't overlook, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. Would I consider watching them again? Probably not.
5: If a series is scored a 5, that is a sign where I would hesitate to recommend. It wasn't a train wreck, but it wasn't that good. However, I still finished the series, and I may have enjoyed it here and there.
4: Getting a four isn't the worst thing. But, I wouldn't think the work is good. I probably may have thought of dropping the series, and only one or two aspects help me continue.
3: 3 is just bad. Most of the time, I may criticize because of the work's presentation, messy sequences, or uncreative writing. Not often though, there are some series I score a 3 just because I didn't enjoy it.
2: Awful. Would probably forget everything about it. Maybe even warn others to not watch the series. Yeah
1: I try not to give series a 1 because I believe that almost every story has a purpose. But if I don't see a purpose, then why even bother producing the work? Then that piece deserves a 1.
I mostly review shoujo manga, so if you're on the lookout for romance, you can check out some of my reviews. You can totally trust me and my judgement! (jk hehe)
