A Sign of Affection and I Am Here are two shoujo manga series following a really shy female student and her budding relationship with at least one boy who is really popular with their peers. I Am Here adds a lot more drama, but otherwise the tone of how the story is paced and the characters' interactions feels really similar, especially with how mobile phones play a part in the story. The art of both series are also really beautiful and aesthetically pleasing!
