| Funniest episode in a while. Love Tohru's girl friends. They're so cool. Whenever I see these weird little fan clubs in anime shows, were they don't allow people to get close to the person they like, I find it humorous and sometimes annoying. But then I remember that this crap actually happens in real life with idol fanboys and the like and it really freaks me out. How can you be so obsessed about someone you don't even know, who will probably never acknowledged. |

| Damn! Another great enjoyable episode especially on the part of Hanajima's home there the three a bit of bitch girls confronting her! good thing they were cursed! lolz! that was satisfying! 5/5. |

| This was probably the first episode that wasn't really doing it for me. It was supposed to be a breather episode but sadly the jokes fell a bit flat. The only real saving grace is the ending with Megumi (I didn't know that was a unisex name) giving those Prince Yuki girls what they deserved. |

| Jeez what a snooze fest. This show really is boring me to death lately and really makes me wonder if there's anything beyond this season that's really worth continuing this show for. I'm seriously reconsidering picking up the eventual second season. |

| This show's inconsistency is incredibly frustrating. Sometimes we get fantastic episodes, while other times we get crap like this: once again, Fruits Basket proves that it has zero understanding of how to be funny and ends up just being annoying in its attempts at humour instead. And the whole "Yuki fan club" thing is even more irritating than that awful trope usually is, which is saying a lot (with no mention of them for ages, I was hoping the show had forgotten them, but unfortunately not). Also, despite the Hanajima focus, this episode doesn't feel like it did anything for her character other than letting us see her smile and letting us know that her little brother is really creepy. And is that worth sitting through 24 minutes of terrible humour and toxic tropes? Absolutely not. |

I can understand the stale humor you talk about since Takaya is pretty bad at crafting comedic situations most of the times. But I'm genuinely curious to what do you mean with "toxic tropes" |

"Toxic" may be a little bit strong, but given that such groups actually exist in reality and go crazy over idols or other celebrities, it feels pretty apt. And it certainly is in this case, given how stopping people talking to Yuki makes it harder for him to make friends. |

| The narrator cutaway gag was the only one I found funny. The rest of this episode was trash, compounded by my relative dislike for Hanajima. Among the worst episodes alongside that grating episode with Ritsu. @JizzyHitler my man, I look forward to your posts every thread and broadly share your sentiments. |

-Megumi’s face peering out a window to observe Saki and the Yuki Fan Club was added for the anime. -The Yuki Fan Club arriving in and scouring through Saki’s room was expanded a bit for the anime. This included the girls fearing tasting Saki’s tea, seeing all her informal attire and makeup accessories being black, and that she is an avid collector of shoujo manga. -The table that Saki, Megumi, and the Yuki Fan Club eat on is rectangular in the manga, instead of being circular. -The scene showing Motoko observing Tohru leaving school with Yuki and Kyo as she vents to Saki was added for the anime. -Motoko’s second nightmare with Saki and Megumi was added for the anime. -The Yuki Fan Club’s encounter with Saki and Tohru the following day at school was extended a bit for the anime to include the three girls feeling exhausted from lack of sleep. Girls tends to look cuter/ beautiful-er with their hair down instead of braided of tied up. (especially long hair girls) ___ ___ ___ LOL, this was a funny episode. The jealous girls are hilarious trying to beat Hanajima in turn beating Tohru. Motoko actually look pretty cute, if only she isn't in that "Club", she would probably be fairly popular with the boys. (Even tho Hanajima and her lil'bro may look creepy and act creepy, but I think they're actually the most caring people, and due to their "powers" they can read the moods and know what to do) |
