Oh, it's an illustration by Ichinose Kaoru (link to full version),
but if you are interested in her art I recommend some of her onshots series ex. "3Hearts", "Mahoroba no Yobigoe" and "Kamisama no Sonata" :)
At your request, I've sent you an invitation. Admittedly, our club has been someone inactive for a while now, but recently, we have been working to boost membership and revive activity. Hopefully you can aid in that by feeding our discussions? :) Would like to see what you have to say about feminism in anime.
So... um.. not to be too forwards or anything, but if you're legitimately interested in talking about feminism in anime, there's a club I'm part of where you can do that. Talking about gender stuff anywhere else on the forums usually just leads to a bunch of people screaming SJW at everyone.
Just putting this forward in case your interested. The club is a bit picky about membership, due to the high volume of trolls we've had to ban/deny entry, but if you're genuinely interested in talking about gender politics and feminism in anime, they'll probably be happy to have you.
To be fair, all of them are from light Novels, which is already saying a lot to me.
None of them became a critical hit though. even Inuyasha and Digimon got quite some critique and 12 Kingdoms is not that Popular.
but now the Otaku culture is so ingrain into it that it is just better to just uproot it snd just go back to the Beginning, like a Shinbo version of Alice in wonderland and Return to wonderland.............
now that will be pretty weird AF right?
Well Mecha at the moment just lacks well made ones and Isekai has that same problem. Mecha and Isekai are also sub genres from Science fiction (former) and Fantasy (latter)
Mecha however Stood strong for decades because it made game changers throughout the decades like Mazinger z (for the super robo genre), Gundam, Macross (also being the first Idol franchise), Escaflowne, NGE, Guren Lagann, Code geass and others.
Mecha kept evolving over time.
Isekai on the other hand never really took of even though it had popular shows like Digimon and Inuyasha.
It only truly took of after SAO but it will only be a trend because there are no game changers even though Overlord and Konosuba exist.
Now it only exists as an Harem wagon from LN writers to write shit.
Isekai had good works like 12 Kingdoms and Digimon and .Hack but now there just aren't any good ones that will make it evolve.
And Isekai can create interesting things like sending a normal guy to a diferent world but then gets homesick and wants to go home while the series also shows and follows the ramifications of his dissapearence.
That alone sounds more interesting than most Isekais of today right?
