A Beautiful episode with an amazing op. I won't be surprised if it gets placed on a top 10 list for best OPs for Fall 2017. Sad to say that I only found out about this anime because of the dab.

YES, it is now a trend to mix very cute and cruel things. XD The OP has the same vibes as Made in Abyss too and I kinda like that. Same for the ED. Tho I still don't like the style yet, but it's okay nonetheless.

Aww the book, poor Chi. But hey, she's sokky tho. XD
I love how the anime things about the little daily things and how they got complicated to them.
.. fishy, bye bye! XD

Guys, just to be clear. It was not fanservice because it's their physiological need. In the manga, they only got the chance to a bath twice. This is the first one. And about the architecture: The aesthetic it's kinda "futuristic" and "surreal". It doesn't need to make sense. It's just there.

It's pretty cool how things are happening. It's slow and I love it. The manga is kinda fast. Everything is being really well adapted.

Even if. They only have each other and as long as you don't totally dislike the other person you are with, you also have the need to be close to the only human being around you. Especially when they are at similar age and you like them.

Really good episode, liked both OP and ED. The yellow hair girls is kinda ignorant sometimes but oh well.

It's a pretty chill series but I'm getting bad vibes.

I noticed this too. I hope this is some sort of symbolism or foreshadowing, that would make this next level type of planning (in anime at least) great.

i love the ed song! reminds me of himawari sketch aesthetically.
throughout this episode, the way chi talks about the past makes me think about where they came from and some existential theory could be that one raised by yuu at the very beginning when she talks about how the white snow could actually be the afterlife and that they're both dead. it might be just yuu's nonsense but it makes me think.

Nothing happened, felt like pure filler, although not surprising given this is slice of life with deserted post war world as background. Also I do absolutely hate the art style ah thats not really good way saying~ I DESPISE the drawing/art style, almost like an american cartoon...

Loved the scenery. So many good shows with gorgeous backgrounds in the Autumn season, including this, Kino and Magus' Bride.

I must say it requires quite a good amount of creativity from the author to come up with something so interesting while having only two characters at her disposition.
The only thing I hope for is that the show won't become repetitive. Although I'm pretty sure it can be prevented with enough of intriguing world building.

Besides that, really liked that ED animation.

Chito disproved Yuuri's theory with her next few lines, what with them feeling cold and all.

No 6th Sense going on here.

The author gives their reasoning on why they wrote Girls's Last Tour

Still the best anime in this season (aside from Mahoutsukai which I haven't start watching)

OP and ED are both great, the fan service part is so pure I like it.
We get more insight of the world which is great, I am looking forward to learn more about the world.

I thought this was going to be good, the show held my highest hopes for this season. And it's great. The OP and ED are lovely, and the character art, when hand drawn, is fantastic. Nice to see an anti-war anime considering the ongoing crisis and nuclear threat.

A novel take on a bath episode. It fit the overall atmosphere of the show and the world itself. Yuuri's devious self was amusing, some of her gazes felt exceedingly dangerous.

I loved the opening and the ending as well!

"It's almost like we're the only people in the world." I think you might be right about that, Yuuri. Of course, you could also actually be dead/in the afterlife. That would also be interesting/poetic.

So they found a solitary pipe that's still running hot water. Pipes can last from 40 to 100 years...guess that helps a little bit with how long the war had been going on/how long civilization's been dead.

Yuuri can't read or write? Guess that shows that these girls have always been alive during troubled times. Chito keeping a journal of their events is smart even if there's no one else left - I imagine it's soothing for her to write things down about their daily events.

"The book! Put it out!" Well, beating her with the burnt book certainly wasn't going to do anything at that point.

If Yuuri really wants to draw, there's always the snow!

"I'm sokky"...4/10 Yuuri tried

"I got the water." "You have to wash your clothes, too." "Seriously?" Yuuri is me.

I'm glad Yuuri and Chito found something to eat that wasn't soup made out of God knows what's left.

"And these bones must feel refreshed with all the meat off of them." That's an interesting new argument against veganism.
"No, son, you may not have your body pillow at the dinner table!"

-Why take off boots in the water? Isn't that why one would wear boots? Even if the snow is melting, its probably still 40-50 degrees, pretty cold water to be in.

So this series is the classic slice of life series in which the elements, as already suggested to me by the first episode, are the calm and the narrative rhythm extremely slow without adding elements that pivot on the moe. It will be fun to follow the daily life of the two protagonists, still alone insoles. Excellent opening, pleasant the ending.

Another nice episode, I really like how there's this sinister undertone I can't quite place, beneath the calm and cutesy SOL-ness.

Einstein's exact words:
"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."

Considering the quote that the next war after that will have to be the one with sticks and stones among the major life form then. The cycle of life will repeat itself. This anime is kinda like that.

This anime has such a strange atmosphere lol. Cutesy music playing while cute girls do cute things but with this horribly depressing post-apocalyptic backdrop. Almost makes me uncomfortable at times, like I shouldn't be giggling at what's going on.

Nice art in both the OP and ED.

Look at the empty horizon! I get chills looking at that!

The opening is decent, but I'm glad they didn't opt to go with the animation style of the opening. Doing it the way they have been doing in the actual show is more unique.

Also, best drawing ever Haha

Finally: Wow! the fact that they don't even know what a fish is makes you wonder how they lived their lives up to this point. It's pretty depressing.

It's almost like a statement to all of Japan on how you shouldn't take fish for granted, since Japan is the largest fish-eating nation in the world. Food for thought I guess.
Interesting episode yet again. Somehow, the atmosphere of this show is very zen. I like it.

am i the only one who is actually worried that the 2 girls took a bath in cooling water of a powerplant? what if it was a nuclear plant? i dont know how far in the future this is happening but even in hundreds of years after a meltdown it would still be dangerous. If its a plain coal power plant how would the water still be warm/hot? Very concerning!

I was a little worried at Yuuri shooting the pipe. The bullet might ricochet and all.

I knew Yuuri would eventually end up burning a book.

It's kind of a good thing Yuuri didn't catch a milkfish. That fish has so many bones, Yuuri would be like: "Ah, this thing has so many spines" or something. I've also noticed that they bit it in positions where there are bones. Unless if not all fish have them. Not sure, not a fish expert.

The ED's pretty great!
