I am still awaiting news of Yuru Yuri season 2. Not sure you've watch this or not? It starts out with 4 girl set-up and they do bit of wacky things w/ yuri subplot
I notice you enjoy watching yuri themed shows, here a few top recommendations, that I can recall on the top of my head:
Aoi Hana - the main plot is yuri, it can be serious at times, but overall very sweet and funny. There is development and old back stories to the characters and feelings are develop. If you like it, go read the manga, its slightly further.
Kannazuki no Miko - there a love triangle (1 guy, 2 girls), there mecha battles as well, which I skim over. THE YURI IS STRONG HERE XD
For manga's, anything from this author is a good read, but its mature yuri (serious tone).
