From Shimuzu (Haikyuu) , Mayuri (Stein's; Gate) to Senjogohara (Bakemonogatari, if spelling wrong, pardon me). There are plenty. So female characters mean hatred isn't true. I obviously exaggerated, but you gotta admit that there's disproportionality in the hate. There are only a handful of male characters that are not meant to be hated but are, whereas for female characters there are tons of examples. |

| Not really.I understand her.It's just kinda hard to like girls with ''Marilyn Monroe syndrome". Although she actually has her Sakura style bitchy moments, she is kinda relatable and realistic. Also, she is slowly, but surely progressing towards the series. |

| Haru is mature and realistic. Why aren't you hating on Louis for doing the same exact thing? He's just using her, the same as she uses other people to escape her inner terrors (of being a prey and all that). So what if she's promiscuous? We see shitty isekai right and left where the mc just pump and dump women all over the place but I don't see you people hating on those crappy mcs. Haru is well written as a character and it's shown that she isn't even pretending to be pure or luring people in. People just naturally becomes attracted to her and she's more or less forced to cater to them because she feels like that's all she's good for. Honestly you people are ridiculous. |

| I don't particularly like or hate her. She comes off like a realist who resigned to her fate being completely at a whim of carnivores and just trying to live out her life like she will die tomorrow. Her promiscuity and isolation from others/society stem from that and imo fit her character. I agree on not wanting her to end up with Legoshi though, the guy is too innocent and will end up getting hurt because of her. Louis is much more fitting for her because of how realistic he is. |

| In what way has Haru ever been a bitch? The only times she was ever blatantly rude was in retaliation to the girls bullying her and when a mob boss was trying to eat her. Those times are obviously fully justified. A lot of the characters have "bitchy" moments, yet you don't hate them. All of them are portrayed as flawed. You're downplaying your distaste at Haru's sex life, but I think that's the real reason you hate her. |
| I like Haru. Unlike Juno, Haru sees him as a male, not a gray wolf. She isn’t scared of him like all of the other animals. Her sleeping around with other animals isn’t a “bitchy” thing if that’s why you described her like that. What would be bitchy though is if she was already in a relationship and sleeping around with other guys just to mess around. Legosi and Haru are great for each other because they both want to understand each other, despite their differences. They can recognize wonderful qualities within each other that very few can. Haru wanting to spend more time with him despite knowing who he is is more commendable (to me) than Juno wanting to spend more time with him because he’s a gray wolf and wants to use him for setting a place for the carnivores in the world. I hope that watching episode 11 changes your perception of Haru. |

Some of the most the infamous hated characters in anime/manga are men. Shinji, Eren, Kirito, Griffith, Suzaku, Subaru etc. In general I usually hear more hate on male characters in this community. So I bet by proportions you will find more male characters hated. As for the discussion no not really. Most of my interest was in Legosi and he is what makes the show compelling but at the same time I thought she was pretty well fleshed out honestly. Not maybe the most moral person but her reasons were fleshed out which is what matters. Gives her a sense of depth. |
