Damn, I had no idea they broke up, I'm not too surprised though. Having followed a lot of bands in Japan, I can safely say that breakups happen literally all the time. I haven't listened to the new band, but yeah, I doubt they could be as powerful.

I agree, it's really hard to choose. If I were to pick my favourites from each series based on how much I've listened to them, it would be:

IE: Good Kita
Go: Ten Made Koko de
CS: Shoshin wo Keep On
Galaxy: Gachi de Kato Ze

Honoroble mentions: literally everything else lol

To this day, I think IE still has the best set of openings. T Pistonz + KMC are just too good!

I will have to rewatch Galaxy too one of these days. I've rewatched every other series so I will eventually.

Kageyama is a name that really stood out on that list lol. He's definitely an underrated villain/antagonist in general, and they even kind of managed to redeem him somewhat too.

I honestly find it impossible to decide on a top 10, but if I had to then in no order, it would possibly be:

Kazemaru
Goenji
Shindou
Aphrodi
Zanark
Tsunami

It's really hard to pick. If I were to rewatch the series again I can imagine it would change quite a bit, and even now I'm still not sure on it. Too many good characters xD

Yeah, Sakura is underappreciated just like a lot of the Galaxy characters sadly. Do you have a top list for your favourite characters in IE?

I like Morimura too. Her character was a big surprise and her development was hella unexpected. I remember losing my shit that one episode she dodged the van xD I think Sakura takes my spot for favourite Galaxy female though, I loved how she overcame her circumstances. Ibuki is easily my favourite male character in Galaxy and one of my favourites in the whole series.

It's possible that I've seen you somewhere on YT, I don't remember too well. Most of the IE vids I come back to nowadays are for the opening themes lol

I can't help but find it funny that people had the space setting as a complaint. At that point in the series we had all sorts of wild ideas including literal time travel lmao. If anything, I wasn't too surprised and absolutely loved how adventurous they were with it, made for a pretty crazy and memorable ride.

I loved the characters too, easily the strongest point of Galaxy imo. Besides the final arc, my favourite part of Galaxy was the first 10 or so episodes that did a fab job of establishing every character, we really got to know them and they were all likable in their own way. Galaxy is easily the most underrated out of all the series.

Mine would be something like:

1. OG Inazuma Eleven
2. Chrono Stone
3. Galaxy (really close to being second tho)
4. Go

I didn't like Ares too much. I haven't actually seen much of Orion apart from some clips.

Our lists differ quite a bit lol, it's great that we can both agree on Galaxy being pretty high though. I have Chrono Stone higher mainly because it's packed with a lot of character favs for me, but Galaxy was way more solid as a series in terms of pretty much everything I feel.

Completely agree with you, man. I wasn't too fond of Ares either, the series completely lost its charm for me by that point.
