Damn, that dragon just gives all the evil vibes with its look and intentions. Those poor kids.

I think this episode really put this anime on the map, that it's not just fun and farming. Ai is also proving himself to be a brave man for helping Helen. Still not a fan of his characer but he is quite brave.

The backstory of Rai, Helen and the Malevolent Dragon Ouroboros...sad to say that it felt like it dragged on for longer than it should. And then again from a historical standpoint, this is still a recurring issue that 15 years later, still reeks fear amongst the other plains.

Wayne and Fal get on evacuating the lands before Ouroboros can lay waste onto more land, with its fresh sighting of Helen, as promised after 15 years to consume her soul. It's more a good thing when Wayne comes into the big picture to save Helen out of her predicament and remove the fear from her heart.

Out of everything, I'd sure NOT expect Wayne to get stabbed by Helen, her demonic possession is very much possible.

This has got to be some of the most cringest backstories ever, executed so badly.

fight "I don't have time to attack" next moment talking to girl for good amount of time... MC get to know what happen after 15 years in day when it happen, yeah so normal for bad writing. Have only one item which give him knowledge because... without reason, because every girl would give her only souvenir of her brother which sacrifice his life to make her live to random person.
And this "he die because of me" nope, he die because some dragon kill him.
Oh, and she go to dragon, let leave that she know where she must go, because ... author need here there to MC fight dragon, yeah, she didn't remember past until she meet dragon, so why she go? Oh, yeah, author needed it.

So, the previous episode had a bit of backstory of a back character. And the current episode is fully dedicated to it. Well, fc! Where's gardening? What is this BS?

The sad thing about this show is that the mc being a farmer is completely irrelevant to the plot. He might as well have been a janitor and that wouldn't have made any difference, it'd still be a regular cliche fantasy. Not that I dislike it, but since they underlined the mc's specialty in the title, they could've gone further than a poor attempt at a joke like "I'm strong because I'm a farmer". At least in first episode there was the carrot strike lol
And what was that twist at the end.. it was totally uncalled for

is should be also put at genre as a parody. This ep was a bit schocking, i mean survive a blast from a dragon and a hit by it, no harm and a fcking knife nealry kills him i mean i laugh so good at the end.

1) Evil dragon’s voice was an AWFUL fit
2) 18 wasted minutes of generic backstory
3) 4 minutes of a terrible fight that was mainly talking
4) 5 seconds of a “twist” cliffhanger ending

Should have just kept it lighthearted, parody-style OP protagonist story. First two episodes were by no means high-quality, but were at least entertaining. This one was a dumpster fire

What kind of a retarded premise is

Overall very bad continuation of previous two episodes and most likely final one for me. Also, animation is really getting disappointing. Choreography is also non-existent which is kind of important for action anime.

I think I've realized just how mediocre this anime is. Standard mediocre isekai vibes. The dragon is especially silly, from the voice to the bad cgi.

But the ending threw me for a loop. I'm guessing she was possessed by Romeo, the guy from episode 1.

Hmmm... I'm sure the protracted backstory has purpose, it just dragged a little, maybe because of the insubstantial nature of the dragon's banter? Not sure. Last week I'd hypothesized that Helen was the dragon, was dissuaded from the notion by the story, but then the cliffhanger may have reinstated the possibility.
I'm still holding hope that Helen and our MC become friends and make beautiful fruit pies together.
My least favorite of the episodes thus far, but I'll def keep watching to see if the story can be justified.

Another decent animation and I still watch it for its character and interesting story.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Eating other people's despair... what an awful dragon, but at least we got Helen and her brother's backstory during his death though that end?! I didn't expect Helen to do that but she's maybe controlled by someone else? eh

That dragon looks like shit with that face though. The body looks good but that face, damn.
Also bitch got crazy at the end. But Al will just need to eat a carrot and then he's ramming his aubergine in Helens' arse later.

coulda been worse, but 100% coulda been better. I was just mind-numbingly bored the entire episode, it was focused on a character I don't care at all about, and then they pulled the friendship is magic thing out which made no sense at all. I'll give it one more episode, but if that ones this bad I've gotta drop it.

Well, this anime is just waste, but I'll watch it till the end because of the episode ending! I didn't saw that one coming.

The biggest problem for me were Dragon's voice and his aura, because of his aura he I couldn't even see him when he was giving his fire ball attack. The fight was literally one of the worst of 2022. 3/10 episode, 1 point from princess because she is looks good and 2 points from ending of episode!
I think demon possess her!

I think the dragon would have been cooler if it wasn’t able to talk and sound like a generic old guy villain lol, but he still has a great design. The CG wasn’t great but it was bearable, I’ll say I was a bit disappointed tho that all Wayne did to defeat the dragon was punch him, figured he’d use some cool farming skill like the name of the show says but nah just a classic punch. I’d also like to see some actual farming at some point but who knows when or if we’ll get that lol.

But I’ll say I did not expect that Helen betrayal at the end, that was pretty cool, I’m betting the dragon took control of her after dying, or maybe the despair from the dragon got into her, those are my guesses lol.

Same here lol, the second that shitty dragon was defeated all I thought was how bad this episode was and that after watching the last 2 episodes my expectations were too high. Gonna give this anime 1 (max 2 eps), and if it doesn't pick itself back up then it's time to drop it.

What an episode... Didn't expect the dragon to talk during the episode, and on top of that what was that voice actor choice? I was expecting the dragon to prove more of a challenge considering the amount of buildup and backstory footage toward it. What an ending though, was the most unexpected thing I've ever seen. At least something managed to hook me to continue watching this.

It's always hard to get through shows where the MC has some other profession (farmer, librarian, mob character #6592), but it's only relevant when they mention "I am a [x]," or "what about my [x]" for the 20th time each episode.

Overall, these first 3 episodes have been kind of boring, and it doesn't bode well if a vegetable projectile gets more of a reaction than a fight with a dragon.

Speaking of the dragon, this whole thing feels really random and forced, but I guess many other shows do the same thing.

This episode was really fucking terrible, but that ending was unexpected. It will probably be some possession cop-out, but I really hope that Helen is just simply evil, that would be a fun plot twist.
