funnily enough i actually didnt get spoiled on what happens with Ace despite first watching one piece in 2023, i was so shocked and sad (; ω ; ).

i completely understand your veiw on Luffy, sadly in the long ring long land arc they changed the story to make it longer by adding more rounds; when Luffy got the chance, he immediatly picked Chopper in the manga, not Shelly. if you want to read that part, its chapter 313.

and yes i did mean water 7, i meant to say saga, not arc. luckily in the upcoming arcs there is plenty of moments where Luffy definitely shows a more mature side, i wont say anymore then that though. ( ー⩊ー)b

Zoro and Robin are a nice choice i love those two a lot as well, but i would have to say Luffy is my most favourite along with his older brother Ace, you wouldve seen him back in alabasta. (‾◡◝) for Ace i cant say much but i really like how polite he is and how much he cares for Luffy;; also his narcolepsy was really funny (ᵕ—ᴗ—). as for Luffy i really love how silly he is along with him being very simple minded, but also being able to read what people are truly feeling and knowing what to say in those moments to further help them.

Skypiea is a really fun arc so i hope you enjoyed it, my favourite characters from that arc is Kalagara and Enel. the next saga* you'll be going onto is actually one of my favourites so i hope you'll enjoy that one as well!!! ヾ(•ω•`)o

My favourite track from "Kanon's" OST is "The day I waited for the Wind". It's so powerfully nostalgic. When I re-watched the anime last year and it came on frequently, I kept thinking of how I watched it 13 years ago.
