| Fuck I was honestly hoping it'd just be 12 episodes and they would just never adapt the final arc to keep anime only people in the dark, its gonna be depressing watching the score fucking tank. No hyperbole, the final arc is the worst arc I've ever seen come out of a major shounen jump series. Cause its the only one that actively ruins an entire series in the span of a single arc and it has the added bonus of doing all this damage AFTER the series had essentially wrapped up, it just randomly throws in all this new bullshit that detracts from the series when it seriously could of just had a couple climactic shokugekis and an epilogue after the central arc. |

However, the Shokugeki adaptation generally has been a pretty lazy one since season 2 all things considered with its heavy use of panning shots with little to no animation and just generally feeling more like it's getting plot beats out there as opposed to making them stick. I sincerely doubt an adaptation that has been like that is going to put in the effort to create their own ending. |

| This series peaked in the Fall tournament, an easy 8 Then 3rd season (Moon Banquet) was good, a high 7 Train arc was ok, low 7 Rentai Shokugeki starts on a 7, but its ending is a low 6 There are 3 more arcs after this Arc 1; 6 Arc 2: 6 Final arc: High 4 (yes, it's that unbearable) But I can't wait to see this trainwreck animated, so amusing |

| JC Staff has already had so many fucking stinker anime seasons in the past year from 2018-2019 and it's honestly baffling how they haven't gone out of business. This is gonna be the first SNS season to get below an 8, and I'll be surprised how much lower it'll get as the arc progresses. I'm not gonna bother watching this season, since I've read the manga all the way to its terrible ending and I don't plan to relive these horrible arcs. Worse than Bleach is all I gotta say |

Sure is, at least with Fairy Tail we knew what to expect with all of it's nonsense but with what's coming in the later episodes most of the fundamentals we were introduced to watch play out over the seasons become non existent. The next arc will have you questioning if this is even the same series. The arc is like an unintentional parody of itself. |
