Season 2 already developed our main cast characters a lot and expanding lore & world building more.

Animated version of Season 3 can become mainstream. Also future re:zero seasons also happens in one location.

I'm absolutely loving it!! This show is fucking metamodernist and one of the most impressive pieces of fiction I've ever experienced, and I haven't even finished it... I found the Kizu movies to be great, but I was slightly bothered with the fanservice and strange structure, especially in III. But I will rewatch them at a later date as I watched in semi-chronological order with Kizu right after Bake, I think I will appreciate them more once I've gotten through the entire rest of the show. Although I'm glad I watched them before Second Season, because it made Onimonogatari much more powerful



Nadeko is actually my least favorite girl, although I do still love her and the way she was written. She's just cute! But what the hell is wrong with Hitagi?? She is a beautiful character, the way she is written is so delicate, people call her "tsundere", "yandere" or whatever"dere" but I think she's far past any of those tags. She even makes fun of that herself with "Tsundere service"! She's just so loveable, especially after the Valentine's Day chocolate in Tsuki haha



Right now I think Ougi is my favourite girl, although it seems like she is some kind of oddity, I'm not sure. My guess is just like how all the girls got their animals, Ougi is Koyomi's oddity that haunts him. Although I don't know what kind of animal she would be, she seems totally different. Her voice actress is too goddamn good, can't help but love "her". Honestly I love all the characters in this show, it's hard to pick a favourite. Even brief side characters like Rouka would be among the best in other shows.
