Ok, this episode was hilarious.
Seeing Bright's blushing face was priceless xD That blond woman was continually holding his arm lol~
I also loved the part when they dismembered the Double Zeta.
Chara is no doubt an idiot~

double zeta god getting killed was funny

Chara can't recall motivations for more than 30 seconds. It's like a feat of human evolution to be that dumb.

Bright, Bright... What about Mirai? tsc tsc...

That was a good episode. I thought it was going to be boring, but it reminded me "Five Star Stories" a little.

The ending made me very curious. Going to check the next episode now!

Boring episode. I don't know if it's the lack of people getting slapped or the lack of Char but so far ZZ does not feel as good as 0079 or Zeta :(

Bright shouldn't let any woman besides Mirai play like that. Where is his backbone!

This series is reeally beginning to feel like cartoons.

This episode's pacing was so messy, but it was fun. This colony is interesting, I hope they stay there beyond the next episode.

Bright da fuq are you doing?
Where did the blondie come from and more importantly why is she clinging around like gum?

But this episode made the series turn weird...
Not in a that's hilarious kind of way (it was already like that) but a bad kind of weird.
Ugh, I didn't like it at all.

This week on gundam the gang investigates the mystery of the amish space aztecs

ok seriously this episode was bad, like really bad, its pacing and directing were all over the place and the entire idea of the episode is so mind numbingly stupid it feels like something youd find from a bad episode of gintama

While the idea of a colony in space that contains a civilization that's pre-technology is interesting (yet very odd), this episode feels like more padding. Nothing really happened other than that Chara doesn't seem much like an enemy when she's not going crazy in a mobile suit.

Now that Argama has met up with the Rose, there seems to be no next plot point for the story to head to. What are we supposed to be going again?

Ah the Moon moon cult I've heard terrible things.

How this whole primitive colony came to happen confuses me, I mean I'm presuming they got cut off from the rest of the Earth sphere during the One Year War but that was only 9 years ago so how did they regress so much in that time?.

Good episode!

Fucking lol at Bright. He already has a wife and children, yet he's flirting with this Emary girl XD

Mirai would bright slap Bright if she saw him doing this on her bacl :P

Wtf crazy religion in my Gundam!?! :O

Then again this is an abandoned colony, so i guess anything can happen.

I lol'd when everyone started to cry when they disassembled Double Zeta XD

I though the leader of the Moon was Sayla, but instead Rasara, so Sarasa is the good girl twin?!?!

I didn't understand how Judau didn't went after those two backstabbing junkers. He was punched in the gut and the next thing you know, he's with this Rasara girl.

Axis are bastards for using Reina like that.

Getting better, but the pacing are all over the place. It kinda reminds me of Gundam G Reconguista to be quite honest XD

Can't wait for the next episode!

Why is that space station called Moon Moon? It just reminds me of that stupid wolf meme...

Episode seemed to be a little bit jumpy at some points. Like how did Judau get to the hut with Chara and Rasara. Shouldn't he freak out when he saw Chara, but they were like old buddies drinking tea together.

She's acting really erratically like a cyber new type .. like Four from Zeta gundam remember it seemed like she had split personality . It's been a while since I watched zeta but If I remember correctly cyber new types were people who were experimented on to have the abilities simular to new types but the experiments on them had horrible after effects on their minds

Anime ja nai indeed. It's just vomit splattered on screen.

I mean, who the hell thought this was a good idea to greenlight this episode? Was everyone high on amphetamine during the writing of the script?

Just... why?

Interesting colony idea, there is clearly a path to explore here. But how did a sect pay for a giant space colony? o_O It couldn't be a cult who took the colony after it has been cut off the Earth, or they would have the same modern facilities as we can find in others, more importantly you can't brainwash an entire population in seven or eight years only.

2.5/5

@St0rmblade And.. you know what? Tomino thought it wasn't enough to offer them a bunch of episodes here: they come back later ! :D
Worse: the mad writer japanese companies like to hire to rewrite/expand their old SF properties into the new century for a new readership/audience actually thought it was a good idea to produce a manga about them ! It's shamelessly called Moon Gundam and is his second wrongdoing at Gundam after his fan-gasm fictions Unicorn Gundam (a series of light novels beautifully illustrated by Yasuhiko ;) ).
Oh, the guy's name is Fukui Harutoshi (and btw, I despise him so don't take my words above too seriously)

Don't worry, from now on, ZZ (Gundam as a whole?) won't ever be able to reach a lower point, no matter how strongly they try and how ridiculous they achieve to be.

Oh no, this is the same guy who wrote the script for Yamato 2202. He really doesn't seem to have a great career.

Ahah, I didn't know they got him on the anime too, the only misdeed I knew of him on Yamato was the live-action film. (out-of-topic: the original Farewell film is a great experience)
Seeing how the big franchises he was attached to keep hiring him for more, and the trust it kind of shows, I would say he has a pretty good career corrupting Yamato, Harlock, Gundam and still free to do it. (also, a time travel story manga from long ago)

I'm sure you'll love Unicorn as other contemporary watchers did. There are even long time UC fans who totally adopted it, since it's so much "better than CCA" and "a definitively essential epilogue to the Universal Century".

This show is well ok it's way to being the worst Gundam anime ever made. Destiny and Wing look better by comparison. This moon arc is so broken and dumb...just like the rest of this how so far. 1/5

Chara Soon erratic personality resembles a Cyber-newtype (Four & Rosamia) I want to know if Axis/Zeon/Neo-Zeon had in hands the same technology as the Titans to create Newtypes...

Chara really has a split personality, just like a Cyber-newtype.

What's going to happen now that the woman behind the curtain isn't who they thought she was?

This felt like a wierd episode. Not terrible, but it was only okay. The whole plot seems inconsistent.. like why did the followers kidnap Chara and Judau? Then they act like they weren't kidnapped and him and Chara are acting like friends? I did find the whole idea of a colony cut off from technology to be interesting as a plot point though. The whole evil twin sister thing to be kinda stupid though, the plot for the episode itself isn't anything to write home about. They want to find their messiah so they can expand their creed outside of their colony, meh. Start of the episode was kinda funny atleast. 3/5.

If La Vie en Rose had a file on that colony, shouldn't they have known about these aggressive larpers? 0_0
I don't see any justification for such behavior, and this was the most ridiculous episode so far. Why does it have to exist? I don't want Gundam with a space primitivist cult that gets thrown into the show out of nowhere. It's not like I'm against depicting cults per se and I've seen a good execution of this idea, but here everything's all over the place.

Only way to rationalize this colony in lore is to imagine that it started out as (or was taken over by) some sort of Jim Jones style Peoples Temple cult.

Despite how bad this is, it's somehow still not ZZ's lowest point so far, given that the whole "junk dealer loses to children despite having a mobile suit" thing happened. Still, how did episodes this not cause this terrible series to be cancelled entirely? How did Gundam as a whole recover from going as pathetically low as this?

Also, no way in hell something like this could develop inside a colony in less than 100 years? If this primitivist cult existed on Earth somewhere, it could probably work, but not in this setting.
