Thought Irnwpuldninterest you.
I see.
Well, have you ever talked to the mods or admins about database discrepancies? Because I never ever talked to one directly when it comes to that.
So the debate will continue if Eldo Yoshimizu's work should be classified as manga or not.
We don't know but that's remain to be seen. But I want to see MAL and Anilist count it on their database, but here's another oddity that I just found out.
Do you know the 1992's Nintendo Power's The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past done by Shotaro Ishinomori? Here's the thing that baffle me that MAL added to the database:
This came out on Nintendo Power in the USA before it got a Japanese release, the original language is English and not Japanese (it got translated into Japanese later). This has now been classified as OEL manga, and when the comic/OEL manga got translated into Japanese, they keep the reading orientation intact (it kept the left to right orientation as it was when it first got published in the USA on Nintendo Power). From Zelda Fandom's entry on this comic/OEL manga:
How did Ishinomori's Zelda: A Link to the Past OEL manga get accepted on MAL database, yet Eldo Yoshimizu's Ryoko, Gamma Draconis, and Hen Kai Pan don't count?
So I wonder if MAL & Anilist will add that manga to the database, or is it because it'll come out in English first and Japanese later it'll not count to the database.
Thanks. I've been wanting to read them but kinda keep delaying it cuz I have no convenient way of recording it in my list outside of keeping up some separate text file, so I focus on some other stuff for the time being.
Just a little FYI: Gamma Draconis is not on Hoopla, so you're going to have to find another to read it. Luckily for me, my local libraries have Gamma Draconis so I can read it and see/determine how much of it is really manga enough to be worthy on MAL and Anilist's database.
could you send the Haguregumo's RAW? Ty
(Seen it? How was it?)
PS: After 4 years , I've just received...

Not that the prequel manga is even completely translated to English in the first place.
