| The plan to regenerate electricity from the ocean floor, it falls on Natsuki and Atri to reclaim properties like resin from Ryuuji's sunken company, and the latter brings that and more with crabs to make Imagawayaki with the Takoyaki-like equipment. The BBQ itself resembles something like a school festival, though the guys have a bickering over the blueprints to generate electricity, much ado like their old times at the Academy. Sure, Natsuki has the brains, but Ryuuji has the brawns, and they both make up over their differences. But Minamo getting underwear for Atri which Natsuki refutes, and the sucker punch is that Catherine is back to reclaim Atri. Instead of Natsuki and Minamo, Atri actually proved herself useful to Rocket Punch Catherine out of oblivion, though her being a teacher and known as Hanako Osoda before the debt collectors would reign over her, it feels kind of contrived. But back to the electricity generation part, they're still missing batteries since it spiked under demand, regardless of surface or on water. Still, Atri remains valuable, and the only know-how is that she's a discontinued product, more than just being rare, something which is kept under wraps from Natsuki's grandmother. And at the behest of Atri willing to sell herself to become valuable for batteries, Natsuki's not willing to use her, for possibly bad nightmares he's had in the past. To go this far for batteries, Natsuki's really popping his head. |

| Atri is always willing to help and shine in her own way. I was surprised to see her willing to be sold to get batteries for the school but she does really want to be useful. |
| "So you're saying ...that you thought I was stupid?" "If I'm being honest, yes." The fact that an exchange like that was what got Natsuki and Ryuuji to instantly go from enemies to bros is absolutely hilarious but also really just so ...human. I can tell by the way the last scene was pulling at my heartstrings that I'm not gonna survive the end of this. The real reason Atri's model was discontinued might as well be because they're ticking feels bombs. ...And that they're way too smug for this world.  |

| Easily the best episode so far. I like the bonding moment between Natsuki and Ryuji from the heated discussion between them followed by sincere apology for looking down on Ryuji. Slowly we got into the drown city to find battery and a hint of Atri's combat ability and her rarity for being highly advanced robot. There's a high potential of bounty hunters that are looking for Atri's trace. I really enjoy the dynamic between smug, childish and kawai Atri with the straightforward Natsuki which made them a good duo. Slow but good pacing to get us naturally learn the characters and their settings. |

| Beach episode! Wouldn’t be an anime without a lil bit of bikini action. Atri looked cute today and it was nice seeing the kids just be kids for a bit amidst all the chaos and danger of this world they’re living in. Trying to hang on to some semblance of normality. But I’m really doubting Atri is just a “humanoid” at this point. She sleeps, eats, has wants and desires, has a strong insecurity about being “useful” to Natsuki and has even shown a capacity to stand up to and hurt humans. Don’t forget her bad memories of school that got brought up last week. I wonder if she’s an experimental prototype that maybe hurt someone in the past? I feel like them showing her punching Catherine wasn’t just a one off type thing. Either way there’s way more to Atri than just being a silly cute robot waifu. Her existence could rewrite everything this world knows about the relationship between humans and androids and what it means to be “human”. Grandma wasn’t just hiding her away because she’s rare, that’s for sure. But we did get so many cute Atri reaction faces and silly poses today. Trying to seduce Natsuki on the bed and then getting a bucket put over her was hilarious. She’s such a loveable idiot. Still dying about Natsuki and Ryuji making up and truly bonding over Natsuki admitting he thought Ryuji was stupid too. Sometimes a little bit of honesty goes a long way 😂 Atri offering to allow herself to be sold to pay for the batteries got me in the feels a little. There’s gotta be another way to get power. She’s become an irreplaceable part of Natsuki’s life now. |

| I do like that the ED sounds almost like Canon in D, my favorite classical song. I don't know if it's deliberate but it's very close. Anyways, this episode was really tough, the failed robbery, Atri asking to sell her, she becomes more "human" every episode but I especially like the bros coming together for the mill lol it is your basic "physics nerd vs engineer" type thing but together they'll be awesome now we just need a battery. |

| Until today I didn't know about the origin of Uncanny Valley. Glad I do now. Nice episode again. Thinking of Plastic Memories[spoilers] there's the possibility of Atri going berserk[/spoiler] Whether that's gonna happen or not, the ending will a heartbreaking one for sure. |

Strange for anime creators to make that change lol I thought I would be horrified to see ATRI in that kind of bikini because she looks very young (maybe you remember my post lol) but I actually thought she looked more like a teenager in her bikini than in her clothes, because her clothes look like they are too big for her which makes her seem even smaller than she is, but when she stands next to the young kids you can see ATRI is bigger than the boys even. I think it was you who told me that she was described as "a girl about 14" in VN and I think in this episode she actually looked that way for the first time. |

| Yeah this was one of my favorite episodes so far. Regarding Atri, it's crazy how humanlike she is with her expressions and I got a little sad when she offered to sell herself so that Natsuki can get some batteries but luckily Natsuki has grown too attached to her for that to be a possibility. Between Natsuki, Ryuuji, and Atri, maybe they can build/create their own batteries. |
| Are they going to pardon Catherine after she holds a hostage at knife point? She's hot but that's unforgivable. I want to see Atri become a battle mech. Show would become awesome then. I saw this anime long back, SaiKano, where the robot girlfriend destroyed everything like that. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| Okay, the two boys are now cooperating. With Catherine suddenly becoming violent, we see Atri punched her. Heck, in the ED, Atri kicked her. This may be a sign that she was originally designed for war. Sorry, since she is a robot, a loli like her can't generate desire in me, unless you like some love doll or something. |

| So good episode. I still think this anime is the best anime of summer season. So calmy and nicely vibe. As example this episode. Atri`s origin and feelings too so interesting. All in all I guess we can get machines as Atri in the future. And who knows what will be relationships betweem humans and humanoids. |

| Alright, even after what I've said previously, now I have to admit to falling in love with Atri a little bit. After seeing her in the swimsuit and evening attire. Episode was decent overall (starting to get into the groove of the setting, more familiar with the characters, and get a sense of their approach toward the story and pacing, which is pleasingly laid-back and in no hurry), but Atri eye candy alone made it worth it. Mina is still my favorite robot of the season, but Atri may pull ahead for sexiest. |

| What's with Atri wearing a skimpy swimsuit lol, makes sense cause VN smh. Too bad we didn't get to see Minamo in swimsuit even though she was wearing it. Really happy to see the kids being able to enjoy their time for once. Kids should always be treated properly. Props to Atri for finding the crabs. Natsuki and Ryuuji sure hit it off fast and now are even working together. Atri with the nightwear and seduction lol. Catherine's back and resorting to brute force but got a taste of her own medicine. So she was a teacher eh. Very convenient as they needed one. Guess what's gonna happen lol. The scene with Atri was very sad, I really hope they can keep being together and nothing bad happens to her. So far this has felt like a SoL with the disaster affected area/world setting and pretty accurate/believable depiction of the theme as well but given how suspicious everything surrounding Atri is I expect things to go down later with a tone shift. Though I do wonder what Atri really is. An android made from a former humans memory or maybe a cyborg? |

| This was probably the best ep.so far. Atri was adorable instead of being annoying. +She can hurt humans even though it should be taboo! I think we can all agree Natsuki got pissed at the end because he was seriously starting to look at Atri as a human, rather than a robot. Atri, however, started mentioning how she's useful item, should be sold (even though she doesn't want to), should have her battery removed etc. I'd be pissed too. |

| The underwater exploration with Atri was fun, the cooked crabs looked yummy ahaha, also Catherine is making a move using a knife to try getting Atri for money eh, at least now they're safe but Atri wants to sell herself so they can finally have money for everyone, I can already feel like this is going to be very sad, you can't sell Atri after all they already experienced together and it's only the beginning... |
