| I really enjoyed seeing how the military operates and how they handle evacuations, as well as the prep before the battle. Seeing Mina in action was really cool too. The best part was when Kafka is able to use his prior knowledge from being a cleaner to find the yoju's core. He can still provide support without directly fighting. Also, can't forget about the cougar checking out the rookies. Cougar tomboys are a blessing. |
| Kafka's ability of being able to find weak points reminded me of Nanami's from JJK, albeit Nanami's is a bit faster (and more convoluted). Mina shooting also reminded me of Eva 01 shooting the octahedron shaped angel. |

| Was Mina showing off with those additional shots because Kafka was looking? I think she was. Enjoyable episode. It was nice to see Kafka putting his vast knowledge of Kaiju anatomy into good use. In the end, I think he ended up being more relevant to the mission than most of the recruits. Also comedy was less predominant this time but maybe it was because Kafka had less screen-time. |
| Everyone gets a little praise this episode, lol. Maybe Mina could have aimed for the main body some more with those last two shots? Lets less yoju spill out the carcass. That cliffhanger though. Looking forward to next week. |

| I think at this point of time, Kafka should really prove to the Defense Force his usefulness and "loyalty" as that might help him save face once he's found out to be a Kaiju in the future. Obviously his deeds and true motives will be questioned by then and these kind of crucial encounters with the enemy will be very important for the military's judgment on him. So him finding the Yonju's weakness was superbly awesome as it was necessary for him to do as well, it almost made me tear up haha! Anyways, it's amusing to see Kikuru get flustered everytime Kafka praises him, like a maiden in love lol. And I'm so glad that Reno was getting acknowledgement from Hoshina as being the second best in the new recruits. Aoi and Iharu tandem was also pleasing to watch, along with Mina's demonstration of her power. But of course all the commotion won't be complete without the appearance of the "clean-up crew" Kaiju, right? |

| How long has the kaiju been around? Cause at some point they'd have to start actively hunt them down instead of waiting for them to attack which they do whenever, wherever. I wanna see Kafka fight that other humanoid kaiju so bad. |

| Kafka did some good work with his analysis of the corpses. Hoshina telling him that he's done fine work had me smiling. Mina is a real powerhouse with her 96%. That is just insane! The cliffhanger desperately made me want to watch more. Next week can't come soon enough for me. |

| The question is, maybe I don't remember something, where do these Kaiju come from? I mean, why isn't anyone even talking about it? they should probably know because it's hard to miss something as big as in this episode xD What also annoys me is that, as usual in this type of shounen, the MC and his friends are so much in the foreground, it seems as if there's nothing specific in front of them it was in this army xD 3/5 |
| An action-packed episode! Kafka has proven to be a valuable asset to the defense force. I like that even though he's not as strong in his human form, he uses all his knowledge to keep up. Kafka's companions have also shown their growth, and I was surprised that the second captain acknowledged Reno, even considering him as potentially becoming one of the strongest alongside Kikoru. Things are getting serious now with the appearance of the infiltrated Kaiju. |

| I know Kafka's gonna end up transforming anyways, but I'm glad we get to see him put his previous knowledge as a cleaner to use here. It's like we're getting the best of both worlds here; him as an underdog and as the Kaiju no. 8. Also cool to have the FMC be the OP one and the MC be, publically at least, the weaker one. |

| "Yosh Ikuzeee" *starts climbing down, gahaha everyday Kafka lol moment Kikoru got butterflies hearing Kafka's compliments hehe. The last dialogue she said out of embarrassment was really cute ngl. Reno development goin' splendidly. And redhead gettin' jealous as usual. Anddd they didn't disappoint me Mina's sniping hell yeah. I got the exact goosebumps when reading manga. Specially her thinkin' and monologuing about Kafka, that was a W adaptation no cap. Very glad I am. Hope they keep up the good adaptation throughout the arc as well as the whole season |

Spoken like a true vice-captain XD That opening scene lmao—never really considered a scenario where someone in one of those crammed transport vehicles gets motion sick. Of course it's the old guy tho, and Kikoru was right across from him. It would've been funny if he actually did throw up on her, as karma for her flipping over his car. Everyone's wearing a full gas mask except for the main characters, which is how you know they're important :P |

| I have to say I really like this show at this point. The characters are interesting and their dynamics are as well. It reminds me a bit of Owari no Seraph early on. Cougar mode lmao |

| Very decent episode. Love seeing Kafka use the skills he has to be helpful without relying on his transformation. However, it looks like the threat will escalate like crazy in the next episode, so we might get another Kaiju No. 8 sighting. (7/10) |

| LOL "Abnormal reading, heart rate increasing" Kikoru got excited from being praised by Kafka. Kikoru's pretty much a Tsundere, LOL (don't disappoint me you 1% weaking, but I am extremely happy when you're nice to me) . And ichikawa came across one of the evil Humanoid-Kaijus. Wonder how they'll escape or defeat the Kaijurian (yup, I made up a word for humanoid-kaiju) But from past episode, I think Kafka will show up again as Kaijuman to beat the Kaijurian. And his identity will also be revealed to that other dude, just like he did with Kikoru. |
