i get you but i have an elitist side and most action anime fans i no were calling it trash

I pretty much agree with you, aside from her not being well-developed; I think she is quite well-developed, especially considering her screen time.

I understand your opinion. However, I do disagree. I find HxH not very good and FMA not as good as Frieren, but both of them are a lot easier to recommend than Frieren imo. AOT is as good as Frieren imo too, but also easier to recommend. I do think 'Mixed Feelings' should be used more too, I find it very hard to recommend stuff to people in general.

I try to go for positive reviews, giving a focus on what is there to like. That way whoever is reading can know what to expect after looking at the review and be able to see if they'll like that kind of thing or not.

My 'Mixed Feelings', in this case, is in the sense that not everybody will like 3 things about Frieren:

1 — Some people don't like the slower paced and less driven storytelling, with fewer active characters. There are few fights and comedic moments too. This can lead a lot of the audience with a feeling that the show drags.

2 — When talking about art, I do believe the intended effect is what matters, but not everybody thinks that is enough and a lot of elements in the show can be seen as unoriginal.

3 — I didn't mention this in the review, but Frieren is not a completed work. Not even in the source material (the manga)

Yo, about the Frieren comment, I can still consider something to be "good" and judge it for not being representative of what I were expecting it to be

Besides, my entire grading method, despite how mal works, is customized by how I enjoyed the shows I have watched primarily by how willing I would be to rewatch the show.

Why do you feel so strongly negative about Mushoku Tensei? I feel like I aligned with you on 99% of our taste in shows but this one we are very different so I am curious on your thoughts.
