yeah, that's the whole point of sci-fi. science FICTION.
of course the monster part is not "real". the concepts are, the theories are, and the monsters make sense ON PAPER, but that's it, and that's the most it can be.
primer and steins;gate have fantastic science writing, but last time I checked time travel wasn't real.
In therms of work, yes, Ohsaka Ryota is having a good year... However in therms of main characters not so much, but he did a good work with Yuiga (bokuben) so I hope he gets more main roles soon
