Oh, didn't know you went to Tokyo. How was your experience there? As for me, i've been mostly focused on my studies, just one year away from completing my psychology degree. I've been going throught some ups and downs, but overall i'm doing okay.

Sorry for the late response. I wanted to rewatch Usaru-san first before I reply and update my stack (yes, I do update my stacks every now and then). I think I watched it before in raw (or with inaccurate CC) on an unofficial channel on YouTube that’s why I mentioned "raw" in the stack. I also checked my 'Notes' and saw that I tagged it with * (what I use for tagging shows I watched in raw and yet to find their sub/dub). There was an old discussion on its anime page about possible subs too. So, I guess the sub wasn’t available or I haven’t found it around the time I watched Usaru-san. Anyhow, I’ve just rewatched it today 🏴‍☠️. And yes, the episodes are already subbed. Thanks for telling! I just updated that entry in my stack. I haven’t checked with the other entries for sub and dub availability, though; maybe I will once I find time.

Mangadex is such a blessing. So many one-shots or otherwise obscure manga being pooled together by the community alone. Nothing quite beats reading physically though. The splash pages, spreads, and just the artwork overall pops a bit more on the printed page than on the screen, at least in my opinion. Digital comic reading is definitely the most accessible, but its lack of universal formatting is a major flaw. That, and some series just don't quite get the scan quality you might be looking for.

Same. Just tried to find ways to include titles that were already on my radar. Seemed like a perfectly gamified excuse to start reading/watching a bunch of stuff at once.

Haven't read a manhua before either. I've glanced over a handful that're archived online because of the good art, but never a full read-through of anything. Once you get into the rhythm (if you will) of reading something like that, six volumes should go by quicker than you think! It's an effect I'll personally attest to happening amid a longer series, at least.

What work were you doing in Japan?
Will you be able to apply for a new working visa to return again in the next coming months? I believe they don't have many English speakers in Japan so best to try learn the language, or do places like Tokyo able to communicate in English just more some of the smaller towns etc

I've been planning on watching Escaflowne for awhile now, so this is great to hear. The mechanical design alone is already fantastic.

Monster Musume is such an easy recommendation to make. I'm not well versed in ecchi, but it's close to a one-of-a-kind watch IMO. I've really got to see the spin-off material and try out the manga sooner rather than later.

Yeahh i am really enjoying Wind Breaker I have only watched 9 episodes so far, but it is really good. Ohh you are in Tokyo that's so cool definitely plan to go to visit Japan at some point. How is it like living in Japan? Do you speak Japanese?

I have been watching Wind Breaker this season still a few episodes behind and also really enjoyed Yuru Camp and Date A Live. I've also been watching some older anime from seasons missed when I was on break from anime and MAL a few years ago so still trying to catch up
