Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

People get really emotional over their anime's these days I've come to notice, and especially when they're unpredictable and don't confirm to their every desire for development. Then they're "trainwrecks" apparently. I also like how there's no real conversation going on here, it's just one liners. As for me I must be the only one that paid attention to all of Saki's lines of dialogue and the nuances of her character up to this point and isn't really all that surprised about her true motivations and personality. If people want to actually take the time to go back and look (and honestly I somehow severely doubt most people are even close to that patient or genuinely interested in seeing) there's quite a few clues even in her earliest introductions that she might do something like this if given the opportunity. Though I think at the end of the day what she wants before anything is a life she's in full control of and she's celebrity and the Valvrave as the easiest means towards that. I don't think your supposed to like her methods, but I don't think it's pure vanity like it appears on the surface either. Again somehow I severely doubt many posters here are genuinely interested in hearing what I have to say because it doesn't conform to the popular narrative on the show, but at this point I'm just musing for my own sake. |

People are just jumping into conclusions way too soon. Valvrave is still more entertaining than 70% of the generic series that comes out every season. | Really that Saki wasn't showing her real personality was rather obvious than again most people don't look at the obvious and let them get fooled by innocent playing characters, things like ideal personality or perfect personality don't exist not even in anime. If someone is showing the ideal or perfection they are usually doing it to cover something up or hide something. In any case Saki is ten times the character Haruto is she is way more interesting even tho a bit predictable on top of that she isn't a pacifist like Haruto and she isn't as naive as Haruto is. I like the way how she is so manipulative and her dark personality is also appealing she is a very selfish person and to be honest one of the reasons i am still watching is her. If a show is where Valvrave is now in its final episodes then I'd suggest something went horribly wrong with the pacing. Right now it looks like its just passed the world building setup phase and headed into the major confrontations and power struggles that tend to characterize sunrise mecha shows. As for the whole "train wreck" thing I'd swear its just what some people want this show to be and there will be no way to convince them otherwise regardless. If that's how they choose to frame their experince from day one and to just be endlessly stubborn without good cause to back it up then I'll probably just continue to say they're missing out and frankly being retarded about the show. Just such a simplistic and terrible way to watch a show. @officialguts: at least you're willing to admit it. |

MAL has long time ago stopped being a place where you could find interesting discussions. These days, it is just Youtube Comment Level (especially on Episode treads). From my experience, Animesuki is the best place for quality discussions. Either way, I agree with all you said. The trainwreck line part is especially ridiculous. The show is simply not stuck-up serious but over-the-top entertainment. However, plot itself IS thought out and it's characters developed. What matters IMO is how it is executed. in this case, most other studio's would have made her an sulky emo that sits in teh corner and gets redeemed teh same ep. | ^^ you can be over-the-top and not a trainwreck, e.g. TTGL/JJBA. And tbh, this isn't even over-the-top, really. I've yet to go "wtf!?" because something was stupidly awesome (like Jojo mowing down Straizo with a tommy-gun out of nowhere), it's just really bad writing. There have been plenty of examples given in past ep threads. It's entertaining, but not because it's good. |

| OMG Saki did a 180 0__0. She was able to pilot her Valvrave really fast. Shouko has a contender with Haruto. Same with with cheerleader girl. L-11 has uncover the secret of the Valvrave Aww too bad Senator Figaro died. Next week someone will pilot the next Valvrave ( Blue or Yellow one will appear next) According to the earlier post. I agree with them. Those people are likely the next Valvrave pilots. It could be possible that the Doorsian can pilot their own Valvrave. They can steal and study it's design. Thus creating their very own. Unless that Doorsian commander/leader who knew about the Valvrave. Already knows about it's technology and is already making them as we speak. L-11 could be one of the pilots. If he can figure out how Valvrave works. Unless he finds a secret one ( Maybe a silver/black one) and that one will be his very own. |
