Cute girls go fishing aside from going to school. There is a fair bit of difference in the character connections but both do educate you quite a bit on fishing. Despite both being cute in general, Slow Loop is more 'innocent' per se if that makes any sense but can get a little serious too compared to.

Both are about a specific outdoor activity, have similarly cozy atmospheres and music, and are great when you want to just turn your brain off and relax. Yuru Camp has better art and a more specifically cozy vibe, while Houkago Teibou Nisshi has more of a focus on explaining the actual sport (fishing) in detail.

Two fairly timid MC's are somewhat roped into doing an activity/hobby they never thought to do outside of school where Yama is to do with hiking and Houkago is with fishing. We venture through said hobbies and learn quite a bit on them along with the MC's. Both MC's also wanted to be in the handicrafts club before but in the end ended up doing what they do now. They are rather fun to watch and have their little bits of drama here and there too but overall a good time to be had by the two.

Cgdct school clubs. Asteroid in Love and Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater are anime which follow cgdct at their respective clubs. Asteroid in Love features Mira and her companions at the Earth Sciences Club, with Breakwater featuring Hina and her companions at the Breakwater Club. Both are wholesome, heartwarming anime with a little bit of learning you can do as the anime progresses.

Hina and Yui both get in to their clubs without knowing a lot about the subject matter. They both want to leave the club at first but after trying they find out that both of them have a natural talent for their subjects and stay in the club. Also on their journey both the main character and the viewer learns more about the subject and the characters. And as the series progresses both the viewer and the protagonist get more and more attached to the subject and the characters.

- Fishing - School life/slice of life - Calming and has funny moments - All one gender (all female or all male cast)

They both focus heavily on enjoying your time with nature. They have very similar styles of comedy, and are both excellent slice of life shows to unwind to. The music is also very good in both, always matching the atmosphere well. While I would say the characters in Non Non Biyori are more fleshed out, that be partially due to it having more seasons and more content.

Its same thing but with different object. Long Riders! has focused on Biking btw but with worse animation

If you are just craving the ocean, these two are great picks. The narratives are quite different, but the nautical settings are fantastic in both. One is a romance/supernatural drama and the other is simply about a fishing club, but both focus heavily on human coexistence with nature, specifically the sea. I'm massively biased towards anything ocean-related, so these two both did wonders for me. Perhaps they will do the same for you.

A rather niche activity, still possessing the strongest sense of authenticity and love for a hobby parallel to the likes of general interests people commonly associated with people as such. They are nothing grand, but this is a story of real humans and their times fishing or golfing, as so their story would have them do. It's what fun is all about.

Niche interests. Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken and Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater both follows a small group of girls associated with clubs that revolve around a niche activity. Eizouken being anime making, Breakwater being fishing. Similar characters too with the somewhat manipulative people: moneymaker Kanamori and club leader Kuroiwa. Both are good anime with Eizouken being a great adventure, whilst Breakwater is more of cgdct.

Roughing it. Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater and Are You Lost both features female students who do activities outside of a modern standard. Though Are You Lost forces for a change in lifestyle due to Homare and her group being stranded, whilst Breakwater is fishing activities in the Breakwater club. Both anime have the same theme in which, along the way, the girls all learn new methods in how to operate in their respective places. Both anime are decent comedies with Are You Lost having a shorter episode length as well as more fanservice.

Legit. If you like cgdct with the fun vibes around the girls and their club activities, at their local unique areas, you can visit this exact similar show.

Both Shows are very cute slice of life with a unique sub plot which keeps the episodes interesting. Also, both shows are episodic

Both Houkago teibou nisshi and yama no susume are CGDCT series and have a few similarities. Houkago is about fishing while Yama no susume is about mountain climbing, and both anime explain their respective hobbies in an interseting way. The main cast likwise has some similarities. I found the characters of Hina and Natsumi in Houkago similair to Aoi and Hinata of Yama no susume. Both series also have a relaxed setting.

Both are related to the sea and the pleasant things we can do with it. Houkago Teibou Nisshi is more about fishing from the shore and Amanchu about diving among the fish, but both show the beauty of the marine world and respect for them. Also the two main heroines (both arrived in a new place) overcome their fears to enjoy their new hobby (with their new friends).

Mitsuboshi Colors is also an Iyashikei anime, but this time, it is about a group of friends as they discover things in their neighborhood. I love the premise of these two animes that they don't have a heavy plot (hence, Iyashikei) but there is always an overarching theme that makes the episodes relevant and coherent (e.g. this anime is all about their lives and encounters in their Breakwater Club, Mitsuboshi Colors is about their lives and encounters in their neighborhood). You should definitely check Colors if you liked this.

Both have great moments of peace and harmony, where the characters can enjoy very relaxing activities, and the characters are very cute and funny, add this to the text that follows exactly what is proposed, that is, they are well structured and follow a very interesting logic.

Both are about a group of cute girls following their passion in life, whether it be fishing or creating games. Also both made by Doga Kobo, so you can expect the same level of quality in both.

They are both in the subgenre of iyashikei with a group of high school girls doing a rather unexpected hobby with wholesome vibes and a fun learning environment. Dumbell nan kilo moteru teaches you how to start weightlifting in a safe and nonjudgemental environment in really simple, fun, and colorful ways. It actually made me excited to go to the gym and not afraid of not knowing the machines, form, or how to plan a workout. Loved it. Houkago Teibou Nisshi teaches you how to start fishing at the breakwater again in a safe and nonjudgemental environment in a super simple, fun, and descriptive way. I  read more

These both fall in the iyashikei (good, calming, slice of life vibes) genre and feature a group of girls one with no experience and three with a lot that help and teach the inexperienced girl (and us) new things in a fun and narrative format. Every episode is something super new and useful and the characters are all fun and pretty well fleshed out, not one-dimensional. Takunomi is about drinking alcohol. It teaches you how to drink alcohol, what to buy in each type, how to pair it with what type of food, and little tips for mixing stuff or making it better. Its fun  read more

School club anime. Both feel quite warm, and are very cozy. They are both fairly episodic, with a small narrative through line that is mostly carried by individual smaller stories and events. Houkagou Teibou Nisshi focuses more on the actual club itself, fishing, whereas Hyouka uses the club as more of an open sandbox for various other stories and mysteries. While their stories may be different, they are both very enjoyable slice of life anime.

Both are about a group of girls in a school club. They convey the moods of these clubs perfectly. They are cozy, funny, and generally very enjoyable. Some of the humor and character dynamics are quite similar as well. K-On!! has more of a focused story, Houkago Teibou Nisshi is more episodic. Houkago Teibou Nisshi goes into more detail about the actual club activity, explaining the details of each method of fishing, whereas K-On!! takes a bit more of a laid-back approach to it's craft (fitting given the character personalities).

Its almost similar things but with different object. Anima Yell! rely on Cheerleaders as main object to discover.

These shows share a super cozy vibe and the characters learn practical skills in their school clubs.

One side there is a anime about fishing, club and having fun On the other side there is a anime about motorcycle, club and adventure also having fun. Both very similar just different activities and has their own school clubs

Both animes are about girls with a passion. Shirobako is about them working with it while Houkago is about a school club. You can learn a lot with both animes too, and most of the cast are unique and likeable.

Naru from Barakamon reminds me of Natsumi from Houkago Teibou Nisshi because they're both energetic and playful. On the other hand, Hina from Barakamon reminds me of Hina from Houkago Teibou Nisshi because they're both fainthearted. Their dialect/accent has the same "ring" to it as well! Also, both anime has the same light and relaxing atmosphere, and it's even got the "country" feel to them!
