Both are about a specific outdoor activity, have similarly cozy atmospheres and music, and are great when you want to just turn your brain off and relax. Yuru Camp has better art and a more specifically cozy vibe, while Houkago Teibou Nisshi has more of a focus on explaining the actual sport (fishing) in detail.
Cute girls forming cute school club focused on cute outdoor activities in which they participate in cute way. Both shows are really comfy and relaxing.
It reminds me of Yuru Camp who has the same concept of enjoying nature and with friends

Both series are very based on cute girls learning something new in the peaceful countryside of Japan. Each show nails their respective area and the feel of the Japanese countryside very well, and are very relaxing "healing" watches in their own right.
both anime are laid back slice of life centered around girls to doing outdoor activities. camp and fishing.
both have two main character that are very different personality with a bubble outgoing girl and the laid back close girl become friends and friends with other girls in clubs center around the outdoor active a fishing club called the breakwater club and the camping called called the out club
The two animes are Slice of life and have very cute girls. While Yuru Camp is about camping, Houkago Teibou NIsshi is about fishing.
Both animes know how to make these themes outdoors in a cute and fun way.

Both shows are super similar, Both involve cute high school girls doing an outdoor activity. The only difference is that one is about camping and the other is about fishing.

Yuru camp, but with fishing. Both are slice-of-life/CGDCT, and with some real-world knowledge here and there. The music of both anime is also excellent, especially the ED of Houkago Teibou Nisshi, and ED of Yuru Camp S1

Ah yes if you want an anime that cures your bad week, why not watch both as they have similarities knowing their genre as iyashikei.
