Perhaps the only two dedicated fishing anime I have seen (so far). They both show off the sport in fairly different ways: Tsuritama using it as a vessel for a bigger narrative, and Houkago Teibou Nisshi going into great detail to explain it's every detail. They also often have similar senses of humor. If you are a fan of fishing, the ocean, summer vibes, or all of the above, you can't go wrong with either of these.
Both shows are about fishing, in both the MC doesn't want to start doing it
Difference is Houkago is a slice of life story whereas Tsuritama revolves around a more fantastic world
