If you liked Mahou Shoujo Site, (For some odd reason...) you may enjoy WEP. Their immediate similarities are the themes that the show both have. Both main characters have dealt (or are) dealing with traumatic experiences. (Bullying being the main one).

Unstable girls doing the most horrific things, sometimes with a smile. Psychological, gory, thrilling. Also, gay undertones.

tons of violence, blood, despair, and a tortured main character who only likes one person

Involves a website as a medium to curse people to their death. The main girls have black hair and wears black uniform.

Although both of these shows have quite different seting (the first is Magical Girl and the second is Supernatural Horror), they are very similar in their performance, since both series explore the inner "madness" of the person and the use of violence to save from abusive people. Expect also many yandere characters and bulging eyes.

Both are dark and involve death games but Mahou Shoujo Site adds Magical Girls with unique powers.

_Each day you feel like tomorrow is the end of the world. _Use your life source to gain power such pain in the ass but fuck it (the world is busted anyway). _Why are we still here? Just to suffer?

In both anime protagonists are girls. In Mahour shoujo site: Unfortunate girls get magical powers to use at their will In Wixoss: Unfortunate girls get dragged into card games which are meant to fulfill their wish. In both anime girls at risk of losing everything by participating in magic/card games. Girls in both anime are unfortunate.

"To live or to die?" Charging straight at you, Ousama Game and Mahou Shoujo Site try their best to grab your attention by utilizing bizarre and outright mind-numbing tactics. For better or for worse, they'll be an experience you won't forget for a while.

Both shows are "Dark Mahou Shoujo" exponents, showing us "magical girls" in a really obscure scenario that involves death, blood, suffering, and psychological damage to the main characters. The girls are in real risk to die and villains are genuinely evil, also, some "allied" characters are not particularly "good ones", having some psychopathic or evil attitudes. For both shows being a magical girl is more a curse than a gift. also, yuri implications

the first episode of Kotoura-san reminded me of mahou shoujo site by how depressing it was, while Mahou shoujo stays edgy and kotoura-san doesn't, they both still have similarities like how there's a red haired bully girl who later becomes an ally

Both anime share the notion of lolis living in a rather depressive state/world and finding comfort between them. They both, also, have plot twist (though Gakkougurashi has plenty more) and an interesting story taht goes beyong what's shown on the anime.

Using psychological & tension, both anime have a lot of real violence and typical mahou shoujo violence. About how one gains the power to subdue those closest to him, there is an admin/kamisama who gives power. Can give off almost same horror-action vibes, though Mahou Shoujo Site is more like a threatened world whereas Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Sotsu has a lot of different worlds.

The protagonist in both series is a cute little girl. Both shows use the power of edge to develop main protagonist's character. Bloody scenes. Also, there are some spooky (horror) elements in both series.

They say I will become the kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute! Same way they say Mahou Shoujo Site on MSS, give it a watch 10/10 experience fr on god

the same plot where it involves a MC whose life is full of shit, and an opportunity that has arrived in a cyberworld that given them a chance to be somebody. The differences, in Accel World, the plot was more of a sci-fi and cyberpunk, while Mahou Shoujo site has that dark magical girl theme in it.

Interesting that no one mentions this two shows as alike, maybe because both of them are not really popular. If you remove Madoka-like stuff from Mahou Shoujo Site you will get shigofumi topics - school bullying, domestic bullying, fans who lose their minds, very low overall empathy of people and a lot of psychological violence. Well, shigofumi is much more phylosophic while MHS tries to be as edgy as possible, but I still think that MHS is a wild mix of Madoka and Shigofumi ideas.

The characters of both anime own the objects with which they fight each other. Mahou Shoujo Site сharacters own magic items called magic wands, and Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge characters own relics of their ancestors, assassins.

Besides the obvious similarity of the use of websites for making deals for supernatural power, the protagonist of Mahou Shoujo Site has some similarity to the second protagonist of this season of Hell Girl.
report Recommended by YuriSpacePirate
Both includes characters trapped in the cyber world and has to used their wits to survived, thought one has that dark maho shojo thing the other has more of a triller kinda of thing.

All girls, all combat, all blood and murder. Akuma no Riddle and Mahou Shoujo Site each star a female duo set on protecting each other. Undertones of love and friendship lie beneath the constant struggle to stay alive. Dark and twisted girls hell bent on killing, manipulators behind the scenes, and more can be found in both of these shows.

Both animes are about uncovering the truth behind and the apocalyptic event that is soon to occur. Protagonists have to fight alongside and against others. Both animes contain twists/plots.
