- Both are cute little slice of life anime. - Both revolve around a MC who transfers to a new school in a different place. - Both have shoujo ai undertones but nothing too big, just fanservice. - Both have an Ayaya- I mean, similar looking characters - The girls' personalities are similar yet different. A treat esp. for the slice of life fans or "cute girls doing cute things' lovers.

Both about cute girls working in a cafe

Both features slice of life comedy with a group of girls. Both guaranteed to bring a laugh with their silly antics. Their group dynamics and personalities are different from each other, but it still gives a similar feel. k-on is in a music club setting, and gwudk is in a cafe setting. They don't get too in-depth into music/coffee-making, but there's still a bit of reference. If you love one of them, you would definitely like the other.

They might not have a complex story but both of these shows has their own charms when it comes to characters. This is especially evident when the cast is made up of cute girls doing cute things on a daily basisi. The mood is mostly lighthearted for both series so don't expect anything deep or complex. Rather, expect humor and character relationships that is innocent and memorable. I recommend both series if you're looking for something to relax for the day and enjoy a simple, yet alluring show with classic slice of life ideas.

Ever wondered what the word 'moe' means? Gochuumon wa Usagi desuka? and Tonari no Kyuuketsuki-san are both among the most moe anime out there. Neither anime is very funny (they both have some comedy though) but the anime make up for it with their atmosphere and cuteness. The characters are very similar; especially Sophie and Chino. They are the shy and quiet type, but certainly not the boring type; actually both are very cute and beautiful. Main difference of course is that Sophie is a vampire and Chino a human.

Acchi Kocchi and Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka are slice of life shows that portrays a small yet colorful and character cast. There is no complex plot but instead formulated by a simple story about a group of friends who do activities together. The characters offer a diverse range of personalities with their own gimmicks as well. On top of that, there are animal motifs and symbolism to create a more creative atmosphere. I recommend both series for anyone interested in a show with a charming slice of life favor.

Both shows start with the cute, pink, lovable protagonist (Kokoa and Hinako) who move to a new town that is the opposite of where they grow up. They both stay somewhere that has a coffee shop and has a rule that the residents have to work there (Hitotose Manor and The rabbit house) where the main character becomes friends with four girls, each with color themes. Theres: Kuina and Chino. Sharo and Chiaki. Mayuki and Chiya. Rize and Yua. Kokoa and Hinako. Both shows are cute, slice of life shows that if you like one, you will like the other.

A new girl in a peaceful town making interesting friends in a café. While both have a easy-going slice of life feel to them, Tamayura is slightly more mature and calming than the moe and energetic GochiUsa.
report Recommended by Verdale
Both shows have cute girls that are in a working environment which mostly focuses on the character interactions and moe part rather than the work itself. The shows are really similar but just with a different work environment.

- Cute, likeable characters, most of which are pretty clumsy and odd. - Both have a rabbit mascot character. - The characters are smiliar: Anne is Cocoa, Hibari is Rize, Botan is a slightly pessimistic version of Chiya, Hibiki is Sharo and Ren is Chino, althought the last pair are by far the least similar. - Smiliar art style. - Similar mood: happy, silly and relaxing.

Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu Ka and Lucky star has the same feel/vib. I thought of Lucky star when I watch Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu Ka.

Cute girls in a coffee shop setting. Better version of Nekopara since the girls' personalities are a bit more distinct and bubbly. Great OP/ED too

- Both shows are insanely relaxing - Both shows "focus" on culinary arts (More so in Koufuku but oh well) - Both are cute to an extreme (More so with Gochi-Usa) - Both shows will keep a smile on your face at nearly all times - Both shows feature ending themes performed by the seiyuus of the main characters - Both shows made me cry tears of joy

Both shows are cute with moe looking characters. Moeta and Kokoa as the cute, cuddly main character with a pink theme. Koyume and Sharo, the blonde haired girls, who are energetic. Ruki and Rize with a purple color theme who both look like they have a graceful personality however both get easily embarrassed and loves cute things. Tsubasa and Chiya who have a cool personality.

They are both CGDCT, in both the MC's mother were impressive people and recognized for what they did, and both were influential to their town, and the MC's want to follow their steps. both animes also create a bond between the past and the present, sometimes going back to the time of their mother, creating very special moments

Both are slice-of-life comedies about a group of moe girls working in a cafe (or a dessert house). Supernatural element is contained in both series, but it is not such an important component in Gochuumon as that in Soredemo. Gochuumon offers a service for yuri lovers as there are no young boys in the main character list. Gochuumon has a romantic storyline between boys and girls but you can also imagine Shoujo Ai of Futaba×Hotori.

Both in a work place. Every character has their own personality and the show's main comedy comes from either slapstick comedy or how each character misunderstands something

If you are a lover of series about little Lolis, this will undoubtedly be a series that you will find fun, exciting, sweet, where the limit of beautiful little things never stops! Only here you will see how the Lolis administer different types of Coffee, well, only some of them can be called Lolis in this series! and that is the Chimame-Tai squad! hehehe, although of course, you have your teenager as Cocoa-san with her sister complex for her beloved Loli xD

Both feature cute girls doing cute things, and are very soothing to watch. If loveable cliched characters and adorable shenanigans are your type of thing, sit back and enjoy. They'll both surely put a smile on your face.

Both are comedies full of cute girls doing cute things. While in Futsuu no Joshikousei ga [Locodol] Yatte Mita they are local idols, in Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka they are working in a cafe. Both have similar, cute-styled animation.

on first glance, they aren't really similar BUT - both have characters named after objects (in gochiusa drinks & hetalia countries) - comedy revolves around the characters and their respective stereotypes - silly main character with kuudere secondary mc - both workplace comedy without really having much to do with their workplaces

Both shows are light-hearted at first sight, but later they have a lot of darker moments. The protagonist of both shows have a goal, and they strive a lot to achieve it. In both shows, there are not much protagonism. All the characters of both shows have a great development as the story goes on. Both shows have a great world and a great atmosphere. And at last, both shows have a deep and complicated story.

Both series have characters around the same age as each other (in particular with Chino and her friends) and have a nice comfy vibe as the girls of the series play around their town and get to know each other better.

While not being from the cute-girls-doing-cute-things genre as GochiUsa, Shirokuma Cafe has a similar relaxing atmosphere with comedy here and there. They also both have something to do with cafes and fluffy animals.

-Moe aspect -similar characters -relaxing and cute to watch Both shows have something to do with bread (in GochiUsa Kokoa's family runs a bread shop)

The main cast for both GochiUsa and Slow Loop is extremely similar. Koharu reminds me of Cocca: Both just recently moved into a new city/town. Both are extremely cheerful/happy-go-lucky. Both want to be the "Big Sister" for Hiyori/Chino. Hiyori reminds me of Chino: Both are quite quiet, shy, and reserved. Both have a rather unique hobby (Hiyori is Fishing while Chino is constructing a ship in a bottle) Both characters do not have both of their, biological parents, with them

If you are looking for a cute anime about a group of girls (Lawless), I recommend both. Both revolve around the daily life of a group of girls and the comedy that revolves between them. Both of them have no complicated story or mystery, it is just the daily life of some girls. Very suitable if you want to escape from the painful reality.

Both are very different in the vibes and how the story tells. However, there is a quite similarity in both anime: the character. Both Eru Chitanda and Chiya Ujimatsu are obsessive, quite annoying and funny. Both have links to "green tea", such as it is Chitanda's favorite drink and Chiya's name origin. Sometimes, they make weird faces to make us laugh.

Travelling protagonist, away from the comfortable confines of their homes, thrust into an unfamiliar situation in order to achieve an important goal. Protagonists are incredibly sociable, befriending all characters they come into contact with. Protagonists idolise an older person, but when presented the opportunity, are deathly afraid to actually interact with this idol. Even with the large gap in time of production, you can still find similarities, especially in the art style, such as their large eyes, a physical manifestation of their intelligence and later, their perseverance. Neither of these anime are life-changing experiences. Follow all conventions and stereotypes of their respective genre. Both utilise a very diverse voice cast, producing  read more

These anime are the same in many ways: - They each have a main cast of cute female students. - Both are about the relationship growth between the girls. - Both are very wholesome and show the the girls going on mini-adventures together. - Both MCs are very energetic and kind. Also, the person the MC cares about the most is somewhat shy and self-conscious about their communication skills. - The girls of each anime are connected through one particular area of interest: * Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka? through their interest of coffee/tea * Koisuru Asteroid through their interest of astronomy/geology

If you like GochiUsa with moe appearance, and chibi characters, then you might like Manabi Straight that has the same vibe into. Although the setting and content is different like Manabi Straight is set in the future with technology while GochiUsa focuses on a cafe set somewhat in the present. The show basically have this calm atmosphere, and having those "Aw" moments on what the character is doing. Expect some cute moments, and funny scenes.

Both animes are about a group of girls doing something they love - while in Girls und Panzer is about tankery, Gochuumon is about cafes and rabbits. Both have their moments of comedy (although I think there is more in Gochuumon, due to Panzer having more of a focus on the competitive nature of tankery), and are entertaining in similar ways. All in all I think if you like one, you will like the other, since they both give off the same feel.

Cute girls doing cute things. Yes, both series has a cast of cute girls doing cute things in their daily lives. It is entertaining by the nature of their conversations and dynamics. We get to know the characters each episode such as their hobbies, interests, and personalities. There's great comedy present in both series that will guarantee humor thanks to its clever usage of jokes, motifs, and dialogues. Ikoku Meiro no Croisee and Gochuumon wa Usagi are incredibly similar. Both are about a young girl coming to live with strangers in a shop within a French-themed society. They have fun and build friendships as they explore this new environment, while also learning about the trade that the shop specializes in. Both also show(in varying degrees) the many differences between traditional Western and Japanese culture. They are very sleepy and happy slice of lifes that are not centralized around school as most other young girl slice of lifes are. In Ikoku Meiro no Croisee, the main character is a young Japanese girl in the 1800's  read more

These two shows are similar in their adorable-ness, to be frank. Both are colourful and fun to watch, and hold a sort of brainless entertainment that is quite often very valuable. Both shows are completely episodic as well, so you can pretty much jump into them from anywhere (with the possible exception of some handy exposition in the first episodes). The main difference is that Barakamon focuses prominently on Handa, whereas Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka focuses on a variety of characters for each episode.

Both of these titles are related to the afterlife and reincarnation but in ways that aren't told to the viewer until later on. Although these anime may seem fairly standard for the genres they fall into, the maids, income disparity, and most importantly the blue haired kuudere played by Minase Inori can make these enjoyable in ways you might not have expected from the cover. If you enjoyed one of these anime from studio White Fox with colourful casts who are related to animals in various ways than you might like the other.

First of all both are CGDCT anime with really cute animation and really cute VA. Both have same characters personality and relationship. Lion-chan from Hina Logi is so similar to Cocoa-chan from Gochiusa, while Nana-chan from Hina Logi s so similar to Chino-chan from Gochiusa. If you love Gochiusa, I swear you will love Hina Logi, and vice versa.

Both are comedic slice of life shows with mostly female characters. They both also have one character with a younger sister obsession, which is often entertaining, and there are some supernatural elements in both. Gochuumon does not really have any romance, aside from some yuri undertones. Romance is a feature of Mikakunin, though it is not as prevalent as you might expect given the name of the show. Both are very enjoyable and really quite funny.

Two shows about cute girls doing cute things. But it's more than that as the main female character befriends other girls at a new place where she never thought she's become apart of. There is many charming scenes throughout both series and connections that are built. Appreciation can be accepted with the interactions, dialogues, and genuine ideas of both series.

Slice of Life-Moe shows that have cute girls doing cute things, with character prototypes that are somewhat similar to each other. Both shows have also slight resemblance through the light fanservice and semi-shoujo ai atmosphere.

Both are cute shows in which the main characters (all girls) start as rivals but become friends. The girls often work together at their jobs, and the characters' fathers are also important to the shows. They both have comedy, although GochiUsa has much more. Instead Puchi Puri Yuushi has romance and a plot.

The main character of Aharen-san wa Hakarenai is similar to Chino Kafuu from GochiUsa. Both are short, have similar hair colors, and are voiced by Inori Minase.
