I like to think of Psyren as the shonen-version of Gantz. both series involve a "game" with real lives at stake, set up by some mysterious person, while the main characters try to beat the game to win back their freedom or for other goals later realizing there´s more at stake

Psyren and Bleach are extremely similiar. They both have the same kind of nice, unique art, also the "bad guys" in Psyren resemble the bad guys in Bleach. Both are also Shonen Jump mangas with a lot of action and characters that travel between worlds fighting bad guys. If you like Bleach, you'll love Psyren.

Both have Time/space/end of world themes and an item that it focuses on. similar start plot about a group of selected players forced to fight each other. Psyren has more of a superpower setting but both still have great action. Protagonist and heroine are almost opposite of each other.

They're both more mature in style, development and art than the typical shounen with a good story. I highly recommend both.

Both mangas are full of mystery and suspense. Fullmetal Alchemist provides both action-packed battles and an intricately woven mystery which is sure to keep you engaged and eager for the truth and what is to become of everyone. You will soon feel like your a part of the world and even shed tears of joy and sorrow with the characters.

Both innocent boys encounter a strange situation which leads them into another world. In that world, they both met a girl friend, and also, the world follows a rule, it's like a game.

Both mangas are survival mangas in which characters are thrown into a world where they have to fight animals and beasts (Eden no Ori) / Tavoo (Psyren) for their lives. They will uncover great mysteries of the world/island they were thrown into. Though in Psyren , characters are able to achieve special powers.

Beelzebub was done by one of the assistants who worked on Psyren. So they both have very similar art work and both give the same sort of feeling in their own different way.

They give similar feelings and in both mangas a group of people with super powers fights against enemies who have super powers as well. Both manga are intense psychological horror and contain a lot of killing. And in both series there might be more than meets the eye to the monsters that are being fought. In other words, kill or be killed.

Imagine this, the fate of humanity is laying in the hands of a single group of people who have to destroy if before it has the chance to destroy us. Sound pretty interesting and stunning no? Well that is exactly what both of these manga are about. These groups of people re becoming stronger by the day which is goo because they are the only hope we have left. If you like these kind of dark and mysterious settings, then you should give these manga a try!

Persona 4 and Psyren both contains a story revolving around different dimensions. These dimensions are the counterparts of the present world the characters live in. Although the story lines are different in two mangas, they follow similar concept. In addition, the "action", the fights and most of the violence takes place in the alterante dimensions in both series. The characters can be also related. The main characters in both stories are given power/connection to power by another person. As the story proceeds, more characters become aware of the alternative dimension in both mangas. Although they have similar ideas, their story lines are quite different from  read more

Both Kubera and Psyren focus on a lot of fantasy and have a very unique way of presenting the storyline while in both, on the surface the storyline seems rather classic - a future where the world is ruined or a girl with a god's name trying to get revange against the demon who destroyed her whole village. Kubera focuses a bit more on the tragedy side of the story with many foreshadowing while Psyren focuses more on the creativity and unique abilitys of each character, more so - Kubera focuses more on each and every character while Psyren focuses on the storyline. Both series takes place in another alternate world where strange technology is involved. At the same time, they meet a strange girl who is a beauty while forming a special bond with them. Both series contain science fiction themes that explores technology beyond our times. There are antagonists that opposes the main characters and their friends but also a little mystery behind the scenes regarding them. Both series employs action, drama, comedy, some emotions, and later on romance.

Psyren, just like :REverSAL itself, is a manga apparently inspired by Gantz. In both Psyren and :REverSAL people from the street find themselves fighting for their lives in missions happening in a strange version of our own world - be it the not-so-distant future or simply a mirror world. In both series the key to getting involved is technology (phones or game consoles). And in both series there might be more than meets the eye to the monsters that are being fought.

Kids go to another time, do some stuff, and come back to their time. The time that passes in both eras is synchronized. InuYasha has a completely different theme of medieval fantasy vs. Psyren's science-fantasy.

Both Manga feature a small group of select morally varied characters each with unique powers based on their personalities fighting human hunting creatures in a post apocalyptic future. Both stories start in very dangerous and mysterious worlds that quickly become trivial as the characters begin powering up as fast as the story can keep up resulting in some insane power creep. One thing both stories do well is have many characters with very different motivations and personalities while still making them mostly sympathetic. They also feature a similar tone, being edgy and violent while not quiet reaching the bleak and hopeless atmosphere of something like  read more

Jujutsu Kaisen and Psyren are both their own series yet the two feel as though they’re related. Both series are written by authors that are clearly fans of Togashi’s works and those influences shine through in both. I can guarantee that if you like either of these series then you will also like the other, they’re two sides of the same good shōnen coin.

Students with superpowers? Yes. Deadly challenges? Yes. Alternative takes on dimensions? Yes. Psyren will contain many bona-fide training elements, whereas ənígmə will present more challenges requiring fast problem-solving. Fans of students with supernatural powers will be pleased.

Yusuke Urameshi and Ageha Yoshina are one in the same characer so if you like one you'll like the other. Psyren feels like the combination of Yu Yu Hakusho and Hunter x Hunter, Togashi's other notable manga series. Both series features a cast of people loosely related forced to fight together to achieve their goals. I cannot stress this enough, if you like Yu Yu Hakusho then Psyren is the closest manga series to Yu Yu Hakusho there is besides Flame of Recca.

Antagonists hold a lot of power and the main characters have to oppose this massive force while trying to find out the truth behind everything that's happening and will happen while trying to keep it a secret from others. Both tell a tale of a post apocalyptic world, over shadowed by the dominate rule of an oppressive dark power. Both powers control immense supernatural power in which a normal such rebellion is impossible. The "Forces of Justice" also control some particularly unique powers of their own.

As well as Psyren as To Aru Majutsu no Index deal with teenagers getting in weird circumstances through new things, in this an unknown "nun"which suddenly hanged over the balcony, and in that one it's a card to use in phone cells. Sounds different? Well it is. BUT! Once they get to know in what situation they are in and in which one they could get in. They accept it and follow the path that is needed. Then some major battles involve, which share the same feeling, as well as the other characters they meet on their paths

Both of these titles situate characters in a "game" with realistic consequences, both in the present and the future.

The characters in both series are introduced to a familiar yet unfamiliar world in which they are granted abilities and insight which they would normally not have.

The similar is that both have psy powers and character development. Well Zero is more mature and a manhwa, but it is somewhat similar to Psyren.

Both involve traveling to a different world. Both have pretty good plots as well.

Both involve a protagonist gaining supernatural abilities - and a whole cast of allies and enemies to boot. Neither are the most original manga around, but they're fun reads nonetheless.

Ann Cassandra is a very short manga that utilizes two main characters' abilities to prevent the future, just like Psyren. However, Psyren eventually becomes more mainstream with battle scenes and powers and thus is longer, whereas Ann Cassandra is less so, completed, and simply documents the adventures in "breaking predictions." I would recommend Psyren or Ann Cassandra to someone who is interested in the characters' attempts to change the future.

both about kids being transported to a post-apocalyptic future and fighting for their survival against mutants and monsters and how they can influence the past to change the future, but Drifting Classroom is much more realistic compared to Psyren.

They are both shounen manga with a very well built universe and story and a more mature feel. The action is intertwined with the story development and explanations very well and even though at first glance you may say there are a lot of differences between the two (like setting, timeline, weapons, powers...), the feeling I got after reading Psyren is very similar to that from Claymore. They are well written and there is also a lot of consistency to the story in both of them, a characteristic which lacks from many other mangas. Yoshina Ageha is similar to Gangryong, the protagonist in Veritas. Veritas's special fighting styles is the KI (Martial Arts with special powers), while Psyren is PSI. But unlike Yoshina, Gangryong dreams of being the strongest because he is weak, and Yoshina dreams of saving the future. But I suspect in the future, these two protagonists will end up having the same dream: saving the future, since both mangas have evil people that wanted to rule the world.

DcD not as apocalyptic as Psyren, but both have a tale of death and determination. Psychic abilities that shirk away from the norm. Both focused on different goals, but have a added bit of romance between the two main characters in the series. Psyren a bit more serious, Dcd more focused to find the renegade Psychic among their group who are killinh of members one by one.
