The thing is,SAO needs both:
1-gaming experience(How to farm,grind,aggro,quest solving)
2-in-game experience(How the map of SAO works,what type of monsters will spawn,what kind of attacks they have) beta testers knew these best
3-sword expereince(Since you need to do your combos yourself,with your physical experience)....

There was 1000 beta tester who has the trait 2 who can create a serious competition for Kirito...

And among those 1000 people it is safe to assume Kirito is the only one(If not only one,max 10 more people like that with trait 3) with a sports(Not even a simple sports,sword related sport) background...I mean,come on...How many hardcore gamer does any serious sports?Kirito also has trait 1(It is again safe to assume more than 7000-8000 of the players has this trait)

Combine all these and it is not weird that Kirito did better than everyone else...In the context of SAO it is perfectly logical...

For me only thing ruined SAO is the fact that fastest sword user Asuna becames a useless damsell in distress in second part of first season and then becomes a support character in SAOII...And also all those boring fillers that didnt add any character development to any of the side-characters...Other than Sinon,Asuna,Yuki and Kirito all the characters felt shallow and even Asuna's character suffered after first half of season 1...

But still didnt see any good argument about how Kirito is a bad character,how he is worse than any other anime MC...Heck even Lelouch has most of Kirito's traits and people worship that guy...

i would like to talk more about this with you because you seem like a logical person and you didnt like SAO(I ahte people hating SAO as if its the worst shit ever existed and the people who thinks SAO is the best anime ever made by Japan)...

Why do you think Kirito is unrealistic for not being afraid of death because of his gaming experience as unrealistic...Or more like how is that different from:
1-Yagami Light killing people without giving it a second thought
2-Kyon being able to live his peaceful life and not being afraid after all those weird stuff happening to him
3-MC of Itadaki! Seieki being able to fuck that succubus

Tried to use shows you watched and liked for examples...

Do you think you would be one of those guys that stayed in floor 1 afraid of dying instead of trying to level up and try to have a better statue,better lifestyle while you are spending time there?That would be more realistic approach?

About SAO thing,i respect you saying "they seemed shallow",i wouldnt agree but i would respect...But saying "Sachi was the best"(A character that got no background information,no character traits other than being suicidal and shy,appeared in only 1 episode) cant be anything more than a joke =_=

I do agree about SAO being overrated but seeing people acting like SAO is the worst thing ever happened to anime industry,Kirito is the only OP character makes me sad...

Taking what I know of MyAnimeList's community record, I think I'd have to be stick with being satisfied by it getting past six. At least you had a go at boosting it. I see... Can't ask for any more than that, I suppose. I'm glad that you don't seem to be a tunnel-visioned prick.

Yeah... Some people will probably try to call me out on something, but I don't see any point in rating things by any method other than how much you enjoyed it... And in my case, I've gotten full enjoyment out of everything that I've watched and read.

In any case, glad to see that there's someone else on MyAnimeList who actually liked Absolute Duo. It tends to get shot down quickly...
