One late saturday night I was watching adult swim and I had no what was on next after "The Boondocks" Until I had discovered that Toonami had returned, I saw this and thought back to my childhood of watching anime's like naruto and one piece and things I thought were anime like teen titans but I was like 10 at the time so it's not like I knew the difference.
Anyway the first show that was on was something called "Bleach" and for the next 30 minutes, I had no idea what was going but it was like episode two hundred something, but that then implanted the thought of going back to anime again, though I already watched an anime called Neon Genesis Evangelion before all of this but I was never super into anime until late in the winter in 2013 when my parents got rid of the cable and all we had was internet. I then decided that on one weekend (because I was a junior in high school at the time) that I would take my new laptop into my room, pull up a chair and watch bleach from the very beginning, and from that point forward I have been watching anime since.
As for my taste I will pay Bleach some respect but like all anime's it is not without it's faults, I tend to stick to more of the action oriented anime's but I do like to linger out side that realm a bit.
As for Sub or Dub, well I don't really hate either one, as about 50% of the anime's I've seen I can't really judge one over the other either because neither one weren't particularly special, they were both good, or I liked certain key aspects of each one, then about 25% sub is better, 25% dub is better. I tend to listen to the voices more, in either one and that's just just what I've come up with on my own, but as for what I regularly watch anime in, It's usually dubbed, but I never pass up a good opportunity to see something subbed as long as that is the only version available and I can receive the story fresh that way, or if the anime intrigues me enough, but I like to watch anime for enjoyment and my usual suggestion for this topic is just to watch what ever you feel like.
Manga, The first manga I read was Neon Genesis Evangelion (the manga version) and as far as manga's go I'm usually up for anything along the same lines of what I watch.
Professionally I'm going into film making (making movies) though in my later years I will probably switch from live action to animation, I plan on properly bringing the anime story telling and art style to the west, and upping the standard for live action and anime alike.
I have started Writing a manga/graphic novel/ comic book (they're all the same to me) and Jamis Hayha which is my user name and my avatar, is one of my main characters for my story.
So that's pretty much all I have to say about my self so, bye.
