Homoerotic tales of sociopaths, lovingly drawn and written. Gory and sometimes campy gems.

Insight into a mind of a derranged individual as they try to justify murdering others (and general violence). The difference is that the protagonist of Waga Tousou is a historical character, while Kami no Kodomo is completely fictional.

Both are surreal psychological tales of sociopathic protagonists with unique wiew-of-the-world phylosophies with alternative artsy art. They come from the same author so they have, naturally, unique similar feel. If you liked Kami no kodomo, you can expect almost the same level of bizzare in Kono Sekai no Owari e no Tabi, and I'm certain you'll like it.

Both are first person "confessions" of sociopathic individuals which draw you into their madness. Both have unusual art style in comparison with mainstream manga art style, so if you liked one of them you certainly might like the other. While Kami no kodomo is more drama like and generally drawn in light colors, Panorama of hell is visually very dark and ink strokes are heavy do depict more grotesque setting.

These two are so similar that you could make a review synopsis of one via finishing the other. Monster is of course longer and doesn't go into the creepy artwork until the latter arcs while God's Child totally relies on it to deliver the horror. If you can stick to only one, I would probably go with God's Child but as mainstream rating already decided - most would probably head straight and prefer to read Monster rather than pay any attention to God's Child (as of this writing, I was the only one who submitted a review)

Both are dark intriguing short manga, that depict the cruelty and harshness of people and society. Kami no Kodomo does this via illustrating the life of an apathetic psychopath and his view of the world. While Mikai no Hoshi does this by showing how extremely cruel and selfish society is as a whole.

Yuki and God's Child protagonist are evil bastards capable of killing and raping without showing any emotion. These protagonists also share a hatred for society and while in MW we get the motivation for the MC's behavior, in God's Child the protagonist is just pure evil in the shape of a person. It's also worth noting they both engage in homosexual acts hence the Yaoi tags. Worry not, it's nothing that happens too often but they have interesting origins. Both stories revolve around these sadistic protagonists and all of the atrocities they commit. So if you're into stories with serial killers devoid of emotions as protagonists  read more

Both manga are written by Kyoudai Nishioka, so they have many similar elements. First off, they have similar surreal art. Also, both deal with similar disturbing themes, such as murder, cannibalism and paedophilia. Both have a similar mood, which makes the reader uneasy.

The tale of a "werid" protagonist with mind that works differently from his peers as he lives in a society to which he feels alienated from. Both manga are narrated by the protagonist and give of a sinister feel.

Psychological profiles of different types of killers. One is an unfeeling sociopath who feels nothing; killing purely to ease his boredom and express his disgust with humans (God's Child). The other makes himself into a killer out of desperation--his plan to earn himself money for his family and remove "vermin" from society coming together months after he became recluse due to his inability to connect and work together with others. (Crime and Punishment). Crime and Punishment is a modern remake of the classic novel. The author connects the people of today with a story from the 1800's by inserting common social issues - such as the  read more

The story about a twisted psychopatic murderer with morals completely different from other people who sets his victims displayed in a gory extravagant poses for others to find them.

In both manga, the main characters are depraved and sadistic students who commit acts of violence. Both manga have a lot of gore and a very similar vibe.
