They come from the same author so they have, naturally, unique similar feel. If you liked Kami no kodomo, you can expect almost the same level of bizzare in Kono Sekai no Owari e no Tabi, and I'm certain you'll like it.
Both manga are written by Kyoudai Nishioka, so they have many similar elements. First off, they have similar surreal art. They have a first-person narrative, and are narrated from the perspective of a protagonist who is not 100% sane. Also, both have some disturbing elements, such as cannibalism. Overall, both manga have a similar vibe.
