| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Wow, that could well have been the most GAR fight of epic proportions I've ever seen. Easily on par with Goku vs Vegeta, or Ichigo vs Bykauya, if not better. Also I swear the animation went up a notch in this episode. They had shadows on the characters that weren't there before at least. |

| They must have wasted some budget on this episode. The artwork seem more detailed and there was lots of coloring with shadows and sunlight taking part etc. Btw if i was there i would have killed him now that he was hurt and couldn't move. I mean seriously no matter how high you put your one vs one and honorable battle shit by letting him go you basically decided that your silly martial art traditions and pride are of higher value of many human lives that he will surely kill in the future. I will like Kenchiro to explain to mothers who will lose their children and men who will lose their family that killing him would ruin their nice prideful confrontation so they should accept losing their loved ones. |

| The Animation went up in quality for this episode right? I wasn't imagining it. Was cool to see an early altercation between Kenshiro and Roah. Mamiya annoyed me for the first time. Like everyone told you what would happen but hey she'll fire that arrow anyway, like she was standing around this whole time, she heard everything Toki said and how Kenshiro himself wasn't ready for battle with Roah and yet she thought a single arrow could bring him down!? XD I love Mamiya but that was so stupid. |
| Mamiya didn't shoot because she thought it would work. With Toki on the verge of death she couldn't just sit back and watch, no matter how futile her action would be. I praise her for fighting till the end even in an unwinnable situation.. Very few females ever can do that. Definitely the strongest arc of the series so far. Nothing was predictable, things were always looking grim, animation was top notch, and there was loads of Gar scenes and manliness in abundance. The Kiai Shouts and Aura Power Up's would make even DBZ proud. |

| Mamiya was silly, but at least she distracted Raoh, who otherwise would have killed Toki. After the little flashback and the way it was set up I was sure she was about to die. Ken with red hair while pumping himself up, lol. After that equal fight Raoh left barely walking, but able to jump on his horse ;) The Animation part was really good this episode I agree. |

| Kenshiro broke through Toki's hold and fought with Raoh ending it in a draw. I wished they didn't let Raoh go, that would really ask for some trouble in the future |

| Woah. Did some other studio animate this episode? There were new drawings and shit. The animation also almost looked more like an animation instead of a fancy PowerPoint presentation. Almost. It feels like a major upgrade compared to the last 48 episodes. There were more colors. And the blood was actually red. Well, most of the time. Wish the rest of the series looked more like this. So in the end, this arc ended with nobody winning. And no one important died either. A little disappointing outcome. But oh well. I guess I should be happy that none of the interesting characters died yet. But I guess Toki is still dying from an illness and Rei still has 72 hours to live? Wtf. I thought Toki or Ken would do the Hokuto Shinken magic in order to cure him or something. But I guess not. In the preview, Ken deadass said "Rei only has three days to live. I'm sorry, Rei." in the most deadpan way possible. Bro didn't even try. That shit was fucking hilarious lol. I wonder just how much of the humor was actually intended. Looks like back to old quality with the next episode. Oh well. |
